Austin had just hung a new sheet and I jokingly said "did you make sure noone was in there before you put that up"?
His response was um.... no. One, 2, 3......so on ....Blair?, Blair?!, um have you seen Blair?
Shakes treats...., Looks on and under our bed, kids beds, under couch, in cat tree, even in fridge. I walk over to wall and say Blair! And hear "meow?"..... I said um hun she's in the wall. Him: Crap! As he proceeded to remove screws.... lucky I asked I guess.
*no cats were harmed, one popped can later she's perfectly fine and out.

My sister recently moved to Lafayette and she had a cat she has won over from feral and pregnant a few years ago. She made her sat inside the new house for a few nights but apparently her cat wasn't happy with the move and is now missing. She is spayed so it's not that she's just unfamiliar with the new area. Her name is Mia she may come to you or food but she could also run from fear because of the move. If you see Mia or think you do message me and I'll connect you with her mom.

Naked bellies are best! The kittens are back. They had quite the adventure. They got to spend the night with a friend of mine Thursday to be transported to get vetted on Friday and back home by 8 this morning. They are being wild and getting catnip everywhere....I think they are relieved it's over. Big ordeal but it's for the greater good! The other cats are always a bit hissy when they come back smelling like the vet but it will be ok in a day or 2.

Update... so it looks like the kittens will be fixed within the week so we got that all figured out. Thanks to the couple of ladies who actually helped. Now I am going to address a couple things. Firstly just because someone says in the comments they are gonna send funds doesn't mean they actually did it. 2ndly and more importantly I'm not going to give these babies to just anyone.
*If you've ever stood me up for a kitten, you won't get one from me. I have at least one person who messages me like once a month who I don't think realizes that I'm the person she stood up twice to meet a kitten from my personal page and now she's messaging me here. I won't even reply.
* If you message me looking for "free kittens" it's a no from me. Even if you don't donate to us because kitten supplies is what we ask for as our "fee", no kitten is ever free if you take care of it properly. So no I don't have "free kittens"
* If you've ever messaged me to get me to take your animals or stray animals you found and can't afford. Then it's gonna be no. The exception to this is when someone finds a neonatal kitten they don't know how to care for and think they might wanna adopt it when it's eating food. There's a big difference in "hey I found 1 day old kittens I don't know what to do for them" and "hey I got this kitten 3 months ago and I can't take care of it. Who can take it" then a year later saying "oh I really like this kitten! We can take one!" Um no no you wont..
*If I've seen you giving away animals on Facebook it's gonna be a no.
I may not be able to afford these babies myself but I won't send them into something I feel may be an unsafe environment. They get attached to people and I don't want them moved again in 6 months or a year. It hurts me badly enough that I have to let them love us them move to someone else. Every kitten I let go to a home I fear will think we abandoned them because they weren't good enough or because we didn't love them. Obviously I can't explain to them that we let them go to save more. Or because i want them provided for better than i can give. I love every one enough to keep them but I know money won't allow it. These kittens are like my children and I won't just hand them off to anyone. If I need to ill continue to struggle to provide.

Luke and Han went home today! I'm very glad that they get to stay together! Their finder, the lady who originally saved them, has followed very closely as theyve grown and she Decided that their home is with her! We also want to thank the people who sent food or funds for food and litter this week. The support from you guys saved our tails. We couldn't be more grateful for the few people who have our backs!

Luke and Han are eating soft kitten food so they need homes. I'm on my last can of kitten food and really don't have the money to buy any. I'd prefer they go together but I understand if they can't. They will be 7 weeks Saturday. Also still looking for homes for Ember, Caspian and lainey who need to be fixed asap but again I just don't have the money. I'll try to answer asap but my phone will probably be cut off so I'll have to go to wifi to check messages because we don't have internet access. I've got myself back in a terrible spot again. I've gotta learn to say no.

These guys have been with us for a good minute and are probably one of the groups I've put the most money into. They've been through 3 courses of antibiotics to get them to the point I feel they can go. If I had the money to keep them I'd just let them stay. I'd love for them to all 3 be able to Stay together but I understand that's not ideal for most people. So I'm going to try to place lainey and Caspian as a bonded pair and ember with a family that has another cat because she plays with everyone here. There is a rehoming fee and you will need to sign a spay/ neuter contract saying you will get that done at 3 pounds. We almost always fix them before they go but I really don't have a way to take all 3 one handed. And unfortunately even at a low cost place I just don't have the money right now. I will check in to see that it's done and I won't let them go to just anyone. If I don't feel it's the right fit I'm not afraid to hurt feelings. If you've no showed me before I don't even respond. I don't play around when it comes to these babies.
Ember = flame point
Lainey = long hair tabico (calico with tabby spots)
Caspian =unlike any boy I've ever seen he's got black, white, gray, lavender with blue eyes
