Say hello to our employee spotlight, Taryn Cook!

Taryn grew up in Lindsay, Oklahoma where her family raises Gelbvieh Balancers. She attended Redlands Community College where she took part in livestock judging and graduated with her Associate's degree in Animal Science in 2020. During her time at Redlands, she worked for the USDA managing cattle for nutritional trials. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University, earning a B.S. in Animal Sciences in May of this year.

In June, Taryn joined the Cross Country Genetics team. She is completing training at the Kansas clinic and will eventually move south to Crescent to help manage the Oklahoma clinic. In her free time, she enjoys attending livestock shows and spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs, Dually & Dallas.
