1. Hydration is Key: Always have fresh, cool water available. Add ice cubes to keep it chilled! 🧊🐾
2. Avoid Peak Sun Hours: Limit outdoor activities to early mornings or late evenings when it’s cooler. 🌅
3. Create Shade and Cooling Spots: Provide shaded areas and encourage your pets to rest in cool spots indoors. 🌳🛋️
4. Never Leave Pets in a Parked Car: Even a few minutes can be deadly. Always take your pets with you. 🚗❌
5. Grooming: Regular brushing helps remove excess fur. Trim their hair, but don’t shave it completely. ✂️🐕
6. Exercise Caution on Hot Surfaces: Hot pavement can burn their paw pads. Walk them on grass whenever possible. 🌿🐾

Say hello to Squirmy, the adorable and curious cat owned by our colleague Sam. Squirmy was a stray cat that adopted us 7 years ago. He throws himself down in front of his humans and rolls around on the floor when he wants attention, so he became “Squirmy Cat.”

🦎 Meet Brittany and Her Class Pet, Finn! 🦎
At Vitakraft, our brand not only provides pets with a high-quality, healthy, and balanced diet but also supports many other species, such as classroom pets.

Brittany, an elementary school teacher, shares, “Our class pet, Finn, has been such a positive experience. My kids love to read to him and practice their writing skills by writing his notes on the classroom whiteboard. He has calmed anxious and behavioral students, and my students love taking the responsibility to feed him. He has not only been a positive to my students, but other students enjoy taking some time out of their day to stop and visit him too.”
