We are in a thunderstorm delay. Right now, it does not look like it will be through until about 8:30 tonight at the earliest. If anyone wants to leave now, we can make up jumps Saturday and Sunday.

We had special guests at WestRover this weekend! Three members of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine class of 2026 and their pups joined us.

Summary of WestRover’s weekend at the first AKC Agility League National Championship!!

🥈 WestRover’s So Fresh & So Clean (freshman team) wins 2nd place! Individual cumulative rankings for rounds 1-3 had Maple in 1st, Joan Jett in 2nd (12”), Ada in 1st (12” preferred), and True! in 2nd (20”)
*the freshman team also brought home a 2nd place ribbon for the tshirt design contest!!*
🥇 WestRover’s Team2Beat (sophomore team) took home the 1st place trophy! Individual cumulative rankings for rounds 1-3 had Hank in 1st (8” preferred), Schroeder in 2nd (20”), Raven in 1st (20” preferred), and Penelope in 1st (24”)
🥇 WestRover’s Q Crew (senior team) finished in the 1st place spot! Individual cumulative rankings for rounds 1-3 included Kailani in 1st (4” preferred), Laci in 2nd (4” preferred), Driver in 3rd (8”), Monty in 2nd (16”) and JT in 2nd (24”)
🥈 WestRover’s Speed Squad (PhD team) brought home a hard earned 2nd! Individual cumulative rankings for rounds 1-3 had Keko in 2nd (8”), Valkyrie in 1st (12” preferred veteran), Monty in 1st (16”), and JT in 2nd (24”)

We are so proud to have all these dogs and handlers represent the WestRover Agility Club! Lots of hardware on its way back to Alabama. Looking forward to another season of League! 🏆
