**YEAR IN REVIEW**
2024 was an eventful year for us at Circle G Ranch. We appreciate all of our clients and team members for helping make it a great year! We also owe a big thanks to our horses of course!
A few highlights:
➡️Our mare "Cromed in Style" gave birth to our NRHA Futurity hopeful "Smoking N My Mercedes" by NRHA Stallion "A Vintage Smoke"
➡️We added roughly 30 acres to our hay farming operation. We planted an alfalfa/grass mix and look forward to 2025 as it will be our first full year on this new field!
➡️We launched our online training program
🔹circlegacademy.com🔹An ever-growing library of training videos ranging from ground work to high-level maneuvers
➡️We added a team member, Marcos Espinoza, who spend a lot of time riding and working with us this year. He and his horses had a GREAT first year in the show pen!
🔸Marcos and his mount "Dolly" won the Senior Western Buckle at the 2024 Tippecanoe County 4H Fair in his FIRST year of 4H!
🔶Marcos also placed 2nd in the NRHA Youth Reining 14-18 class on his first time out with our famous horse "Opie" at the OVRHA Show in Ohio
➡️Destry Castor and her horse "Skippa" had a GREAT showing at the 4H fair, placing Top 3 & Top 5 in almost every class they entered!
➡️Ella Barton completed her 10th year of 4H. She had a great run and we are super proud of her!
➡️Our head trainer, Lane Beeler, sold almost $150,000 in horse stock this year, both on commission for clients and a few of our own!
➡️Lane was also asked to judge the horse portion of "The Royal" put on by Purdue University's Block & Bridle. It was a great show for the kids and we were grateful to participate!
Without a doubt, the low-point of the year was the passing of Circle G Ranch owner and founder-Steve Gooden early in November. It was unexpected and our farm will be forever changed. However, we have big plans for the coming years and will be growing and constantly improving our facilities as well as our horsemanship in an attempt to make him proud! We will also be building a small memorial for him permanently in the barn to pay tribute so be on the lookout for that!
A big THANK YOU to everyone for a great year, and here's to making 2025 the best one yet! God Bless!
