Fairfield County Hunt Club - Stables One Hundred Years of Horsemanship in Fairfield County Our riders compete at the local, regional and national levels.

The riding program at The Fairfield County Hunt Club (FCHC) has a rich history of developing successful riders in the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines. The program and all of our facilities offer a wide array of services at all levels of participation for the English style horseman. Our program offers competitively priced memberships for riders of all levels from beginners to high-level c

ompetitive jumpers and hunters. The program is dedicated to providing a comprehensive nurturing environment for horse and rider to develop the skills necessary to perform to the best of their ability.

Emilia Villanueva and Camille Bernard swept the Walk/Trot division, earning the Championship and Reserve Championship, respectively, with our amazing school ponies, Cody and Goldbug! ๐Ÿ†

Due to an early morning snow prediction โ„๏ธ the start time of the Fairfield January I Horse Show has been moved back one hour to 9:00am ET on Saturday, Jan. 11 ๐Ÿ•˜

Schooling will remain open until 8:30am.

Welcome to a new era for FCHCS โœจ

In an exciting move for Fairfield County and equestrian sport in the Tri-State Area, the elite training program Bluman Equestrian has formed a strategic partnership with Fairfield County Hunt Club Stables ๐Ÿค

The Bluman brandโ€™s new involvement with Fairfield County Hunt Club Stables will allow for expanded opportunities for riders pursuing jumper, hunter, equitation, and pony divisions. Moreover, riders that are unable to travel to Florida during the winter season will have a place to receive high-quality training year-round ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

The FCHC Stablesโ€™ riding school will offer opportunities for new and young riders to hone their skills. FCHC will also continue to operate horse shows. FCHC Stables trainer Jenny Martin-Rudaz will remain with the program, assisted by members of the Bluman Equestrian training team.

โ€œI am excited and honored to work together with Daniel and the team at Bluman Equestrian in bringing the riding program at FCHC into a new era. This will be a game changer,โ€ Martin-Rudaz said. โ€œMembers will be able to participate at all levels of the sport, from pleasure riding to short stirrup, hunters, equitation and a top level jumper program. Just caught up with Cass Steptoe after her return from Rio! ๐ŸŒŸ She had an incredible experience at her second international competition and crushed her personal best on the Obstacle Course by an impressive 6๏ธโƒฃ seconds. ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’ฅ The Obstacle Course, which replaced the Equestrian Phase in Modern Pentathlon, was no match for her!
