So update on my back injection.. it did nothing.
I have my follow up appointment on the 31st to discuss what my next steps are.🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you everyone for being patient, reaching out on how I’m doing, understanding if I need to reschedule last minute because of pain, and just for being some of the best clients ever. You guys are why I’m still trying to groom when I can, if I didn’t have such amazing families, I would have thrown in the towel forever ago.

I am doing a special on nail trims for all 4h families.
Nail trims are normally $7, if you show proof of being a 4h member, I am charging $5 for nail trims.

When I do a nail trim, I dermal the nails. This is just filing them down, making them smoother and shorter for you and your pup.

Oh hey guys..
update on my wonderful back 🙄
It hurts.. my legs go numb if I do too much or sit too long or stand too long… it’s great.
I’m suppose to be getting back injections but the doctors office can’t seem to call me back..
I hurt every day.. I’m miserable to say the least..
I want to keep grooming, it brings me so much joy. But I’m not sure if I’ll be able to continue until I get my injection and see if that helps. I’m going to try and push through this week.. but please understand if I cancel it’s because I honestly can’t do it.

Thanks for everyone who’s stuck by my side through all of this..

I’ve made the difficult decision to only accept small dogs( under 30pounds) until I can get into a back doctor.
I will keep everyone updated on everything, and will let you know when I am accepting large dogs again 💜

Hey friends!
Good news, I will be starting to get ahold of people to rebook.
Bad news, it will only be my smaller/ easier appointments.
My back is not 100%. If I do too much, I’m really sore again and with vacation coming up at the end of the month, I don’t want to over do it and ruin our vacation.
Thanks for understanding and sticking with me, while I figure all the stuff out! I know it can be frustrating for you guys, trust it, it is for me too!

Welcome Teddy to the Dirty Pups family 🐶
He came in for his first groom.

First puppy grooms are more of an introduction to grooming. So I do a bath, blow dry, nails, paw pads, and a light sc******ng over the whole dog.

I take multiple breaks and reward with treats when they do good, and if they get too stressed, we stop.

They have their whole lives needing groomed, we want them to have a great experience and learn it’s not a bad or scary thing.

Alright friends! It’s looking like we are going to get a lot more snow over night (yay….) lol
