It’s me again Butler. Remember when I said I was getting tutored yesterday? I fell asleep waiting patiently for class. Woke up missing a couple things and I got an eyebrow lift (Entropion Repair - diamond eye). They said it will help me see better and not damage my eyes.
I thought I was handsome enough already. But I was a rockstar for it all. I can’t dance with Pearl now for a bit. Maybe someone can help her with her 4 left paws and teach her some moves??
Well, I’m going to get a little more sleep before breakfast.

I’m Butler! I’m new here and they made me more handsome than I was. I look like a million bucks. I’m so handsome they tried to make two of me so we decided to make fur-hats (I’m modeling one now) to sell. What do you think??
I’m looking around and all these dogs here are not prepared for this cold weather. They better get more meat on their bones or they need some heavy winter coats. They make me cold just looking at them Brrrrr
I’m a Pyr mix and about 2 years old. I like other dogs and I love people!!! I don’t know about cats yet. I have been looking around this Dog House and have not seen or smelled one here.
I like dancing with Pearl, I think she has 4 left feet. Just saying she needs some dance lessons. She tried to bite my face off when I mentioned it to her about her 4 left feet. Then she tried to do the tunnel move. What a disaster that was. Anyway, we had to stop.
I love to play and go for walks. I also love to snuggle.
I am going to be tutored today and learning about my eyes. They said something about turn ins so i slept on that last night.
Well, get your applications in because I am extremely handsomee and the volunteers love me here.

Visit with Rivet
Rivet went to Life Care Center of Michigan City on Saturday. We talked about rescue, how much it means to unwanted pets and pets with disabilities. If I didn’t tell you she was blind, you would not know it. Thank you to our volunteer, Katie Sanders for helping. And thank you to Chris from Takacs Dog Training for helping train Rivet to be the best traveling companion.

Urban is back from his emergency room stay and is already on the road to recovery. He is enjoying boiled chicken and rice for a couple days before we will gradually introduce his KD food. His special diet features an array of nutrient-rich foods including blueberries, which provide antitoxins, watermelon to keep him hydrated, and bell peppers and broccoli, which are packed with vitamins and minerals. We will be monitoring Urban closely to ensure he regains his strength and reaches a healthy weight. Look at how handsome he is. Urban is truly a gem and a snuggle buddy. ❤️❤️ We are grateful for his resilience and are committed to giving him the best life possible. Please help us cover the cost of his ER visit. We believe that every dog deserves a second chance and we are dedicated to giving Urban the quality life he deserves.

Hi, I'm Roger, the Great Dane with a heart of gold and a penchant for getting beat up by my fursibling - yeah, that's a real thing. I'm a one-year-old mantle Great Dane, surrendered because I'm a total pushover and wouldn't fight back. But hey, I've got an infection on my chest from all the "love" bites, and I'm on the mend. Now, I'm living my best life with all the food and attention I can handle. I'm a total sweetheart, handsome, and smart - just check out my pics. I'm ready for my forever home, as long as it's got a fenced-in backyard - not because I'm a Houdini, but because I get the zoomies something fierce. I've met other dogs, and I'm not holding any grudges - I'm a total forgiving guy. So, what are you waiting for? Run, don't walk, to the application area of our website and apply for me. Be A Hero In An Emergency

We need your support to make a difference. We have had many pups that required emergency care or speciality vetting and our funds raised a few months ago are depleting.
We have Fin visiting a neurologist at Blue Pearl in Michigan in April and right now we have Urban at the ER. He came to us very thin. He was eating well and drinking but then he threw up and wasn't feeling well. Renal failure is causing his issues and we are conducting tests to see how we can help him. We don’t give up on our dogs and we will do our best to ensure their quality of life is exceptional. We were quoted $6,800 for his 48 hour care, he will be released later today. Please help us cover these costs and be a hero for our furry friends. Be A Hero In An Emergency

Can I ask a question? Why don’t I have any applications???? Is it because it always looks like I don’t have ears? I have ears!!! Is it because I don’t have long Dane legs? Not every breed has long Dane legs. I’m a mastiff, we are short & squatty and there is nothing wrong with that. Have you ever watched a Dane run? Their legs go all over the place. Mastiff’s legs just run normal. I have been here for 70 days and no one has even wanted to come see me. I’m a very happy boy. I like baths, I love the blow dryer and I don’t mind the waterpik for my teefers. I’m clean in my kennel, I am an excellent watch dog and I excel at snuggling.
I love to play ball. I really like that ball that giggles and makes weird sounds - it fits in my mouth.
So share my handsome photos, share my story. Let people know I have been waiting 70 days since my owner dumped me to find a new family to love me. I’m ready to go. I am now neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and on heartworm preventative.

I was adopted!!! After learning some much needed manners, their words not mine. 🙃 When I jumped in your face I just want you to pay attention to me. I just needed some guidance so I could show everyone that I am a very good boy.
Here is a picture of my new parents and my new sister, Sofie. ❤️❤️. It was love at first sight for us. She makes a great playmate that matches my energy level and she is a great pillow.

You know what my favorite toy is? My orange snake!!! I will carry it around when greeting people. Orange sleeps with me and I take him outside in case he has a paper to read also 😉
My favorite thing to do is give you a small kiss on your nose and then boop you on your forehead. Yep!!! It’s a sign of affection and that I feel safe. I take a step back to see if you are going to boop my nose back or hug me. I like the hugs the most but will take the return boop I’m trusted in the house and I don’t potty in the house either. Sometimes I will meet you at the door but other times I just stay on my bed to see who is coming in. I’m not a huge barker but i sure like to snuggle

I’m Urban and I am 3 years old Great Dane. I’m new here and I am loving all the attention. Have you heard of black dog syndrome? It’s a real thing. People are less likely to adopt a black dog but they really don’t know what they are missing. There are many black dogs here. I’m a perfect boy that loves everyone, even the ladies that gave me a bath, cleaned my ears and trimmed my nails. I don’t remember signing up for any of this treatment.
Then there was some sort of mix up and I found myself at the vet’s office for a tutor. Wait a minute, I remember seeing the vet appointment days and this was Pearl’s spa day. Hmmmm, big switch-a-roo.
I came out missing a couple things and a satellite dish on my head. What was that all about, I have been here for two days they will not leave me alone.
Anyway, I am handsome, smart and eager to meet you. Black Dog Syndrome is where people think we are mean or we are hard to figure out. No, no we are not. We are awesome dogs.
