Hello Rescue friends and family!

We're excited to announce another fundraiser! Buffalo Wild Wings will be supporting us on January 20th from 4 PM to midnight. I'll be printing tickets this week for those that would like physical copies, so if you’d like some, just let me know how many you need. Feel free to print them yourself and share them with your friends too—I'm totally fine with that! Showing the ticket from your phone is valid as well 😁

The proceeds from this event will help cover rescue supplies, food, and veterinary expenses.

Feature Feline!

Meet Cordelia, aka Cordi. Cordi is one of my special needs babies. She has asthma, which requires monitoring and occasionally medication. But she doesn’t let that slow her down. She loves to play, has the loudest purr and loves a good belly rub! Do you have room in your home for this ray of sunshine?

Cordi is spayed, has been vaccinated for fvrcp and rabies, and has been dewormed and flea treated.

Feature Feline!

Meet Harley! Harley was found at an abandoned house with an infected foot. She never had to be trapped as she just let me pick her up. She had osteomyelitis in her paw. She was on several antibiotics, had surgery and we were able to save her paw. Once I got her and realized she was nursing, I went back and trapped her 4 babies. Harley is now healthy and the sweetest little love bug. Do you have room in your home for this happy girl?

Harley is spayed, vaccinated for rabies and fvrcp, and has been dewormed and flea treated.

Took 3 sweet Mississippi girls to the vet today. All were dehydrated and underweight, as are the ones I have at home. One needed an antibiotic shot for an upper respiratory. Unfortunately, sweet Flora, the dilute calico, was too far gone. Estimated to be older, she was terribly stressed with the move and new environment, and despite my best efforts, wouldn’t eat or drink. She was humanely euthanized.

I still owe approximately $88. If anyone can assist with that, it would be so appreciated. This upper respiratory started in my house after I brought them home and has spread to multiple kitties. I’ve already taken several to the vet and am giving out tons of antibiotics. As a result, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars just the last few weeks on kitties. In addition to the food and litter bill, I am drowning. I know everyone is struggling, but if you can help at all, please do!

Meet Fuzzy! Fuzzy was his owner’s first cat. He made her fall in love with kitties, prompting her to adopt more. Unfortunately, he wanted to be an only cat and has been unhappy, refusing to go inside.

Fuzzy is 3 years old, neutered and had his last rabies vaccination in June 2022. He loves to play with dangly wand toys and loves being pet. He can sometimes be overstimulated and will bite, but this has gotten much better over time. Short petting sessions behind his ears and down his back seem to warm him up. His anxiety may very well be from his siblings and the neighbor pets, so a calm environment is best for him. He is very talkative and loves to follow you everywhere you go, weaving in and out of your legs.

Let’s find this sweet baby a home. An only cat home is best, with a quiet environment. A home with children is not recommended. He would prefer to be an indoor/outdoor cat. Please share!

Happy Adoption Day, Ronald!!! (Formerly Joey)

I’m so happy for this incredible little boy! He deserves the best home and I think he found it! 2 little boys to call his own and that he sleeps with every night, a mama that loves him to death, cat and dog siblings to play with! What more could a kitty want!?!

I mean, just look at that smile!!!
