Lewie had a good week. His big appetite has returned, his temperature has been normal, and he has not been limping. I'm so happy he's acting more like himself.

He has an internal medicine appointment on Friday to see if we can uncover what caused him to get so sick a couple of weeks ago.

Lots of cuddles are in his future this weekend. ❤️

Continued prayers for Lewie, please. His temperature seems normal, but he's been limping the last 3 days.

His xrays at the vet on Friday were normal. We are not sure what he is fighting.

Fortunately, he is eating and using his litter box, but he is not feeling well.

I just want my boy to feel better 😪 ❤️.

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since I said goodbye to my beloved Bella. 💔 Even now, it’s not easy to put my feelings into words—I miss her deeply every day.

But in my heart, I know Bella lived a life she loved. Nearly 15 wonderful years together is a gift I’ll always treasure.

If you haven’t yet read the tribute I wrote to honor her, I’d be so grateful if you took a moment to do so. Sharing her story is one way I keep her memory alive. 🐾

Bella continues to inspire me every day in the work I do to help cats live safe, happy, and healthy lives. Her legacy lives on. ❤️ 🌈

Lewie hasn't jumped on my lap or made biscuits in a week until TONIGHT.

We've had 4 days of vet visits. All his bloodwork has been very good in addition to his normal ultrasound, suggesting his organs are healthy.

His vets think he's battling a nasty virus or infection. His fever was high this morning, so he stayed at the hospital for a day of iv fluids. He also started a steroid and additional antibiotic to try to calm this fever.

He ate well for dinner tonight. Hopefully we have a good morning tomorrow.

Update on my handsome man... We had improvements today. Lewie ate more this morning than he has since Friday. He still has a temperature, but it's the lowest it has been.

Initial bloodwork results ruled out blood cancer, kidney, liver, thyroid, and diabetes issues. So, that's all a relief.

Today was his 3rd day of fluids, which are helping.

Prayers for further improvement tomorrow 🙏 ❤️.
