Reno – 9-Year-Old Mustang Gelding Nevada-born | Bay-Dun | ~14.2hh | Stocky Powerhouse

Meet Reno, the definition of tough. Straight out of Nevada, this mustang is built for real work and adventure — not circles in an arena.

Reno is sure-footed, confident, and bombproof. He’ll go through deep brush, water, steep terrain, and walk straight past logging trucks, squad cars with lights and sirens, and just about anything else you can throw at him (see video 😂).

This horse would walk through a burning barn if you asked him to. He’s the one you grab when there’s a deer to drag out of the woods or a long day’s trail ahead.

He’s bullheaded in the best way — resilient, smart, and all heart. He’s happiest on the trail, not in the arena. Reno will out-walk, out-climb, and out-last just about anything else out there.

🌟 10-Year-Old Bay Gelding – 15hh 🌟

This sweet grade gelding is here on consignment. He is approximately 10 years old (age identified by teeth) and stands at 15hh.

Owned for the past three years with very minimal riding, he was originally purchased as a “beginner-safe” gelding. With his kind and gentle nature, we believe he has the potential to be that again with the right rider.

He recently saw a chiropractor and was cleared — his back is in good shape. His biggest hurdle now is confidence. He has some trust issues and needs a patient partner who will take the time to build him up. When he feels secure, he is very gentle, enjoys attention, loves treats, loads easily, and is not bothered by everyday activity. He rides out like a dream with confidence behind him.
