To our wonderful clients and your four-legged babies:
It has taken some time and lots of thought put into it to announce that Paws Rule! will be closing at the end of this month on Friday, August 30th 2024.
After 14 years, we are all heartbroken to say the least, however, given the COVID shutdown in 2020, increases in rent and utilities, the rising cost of gas and groceries, many people working from home hanging out with their pups, the need for daycare and boarding has significantly dropped over the last 4 years.
This year has been exceptionally trying, as the cost of living is at an all-time high, more and more of us are cutting back where we can due to the lurid economy, and our industry has been impacted greatly from all business aspects, Daycare, Boarding and Grooming. Sadly, 2024 is at the lowest volume of dogs since opening our doors in 2010 and we can no longer absorb the rising costs to operate the facility due to the financial state.
We want you all to know we appreciated having had the pleasure of getting to know each of your dogs, who all have their own nicknames at Paws as you know, and also for entrusting your furry, tail wagging kids with us. We do not take that privilege lightly. There are many doggie daycares nearby, and knowing you chose Paws Rule! reassures us your experience with us has been great. We love our Paws family, and to say this is difficult for us is an understatement.
The crew would like to thank all of you, so very much for always thinking of us, by surprising us with coffee, donuts, pizza lunches, goodies and the thoughtful gifts we would receive at Christmastime. We will never forget any of you, we love all our fur babies and are going to miss you all terribly.
Please know we love you all and from the bottom of our hearts will miss you and your pups. This is not goodbye. Please stay in touch and continue to update us on your babies.
