Aurora’s little bitty farm

Well, a dream of mine has come to an end. The boys and I had to leave the farm in June because of domestic violence for over 2 years. It was a heartbreaking decision but we had to leave for our safety. I will say that I have the most amazing and supportive friends and family that have helped find new homes for OVER 100 animals. The pens are EMPTY!! It was a task I feared for so long and the only reason we stayed as long as we did. It is a little daunting starting over again, but it’s definitely better than living in fear.

This reason alone is why I’ve always required a farm, but it’s not just for these reasons people give up their animals. Often times they are just thinning out their herd, can no longer afford them, are getting too old to care for them or no longer have the time. I get that. Thats why we are here. To give those animals a place to go, to be loved and cared for till the end of their days.
