What a week it has been! Hurricane Beryl came directly over us early Monday morning. Vanilla was due to have her puppies Tuesday. We’ve been without power since the storm, and our vet is still without power as of this afternoon. Talk about stressful with a breed that requires a c-section and can’t handle heat! We spent a lot of time in the car so she could be in AC until we were able to borrow a generator and window unit to cool a room off for the dogs. Luckily for us Wharton Vet Clinic was able to get her in for her c-section at a moments notice, and our good friend Sarah Bannert offered to keep Vanilla and her puppies until we get power back. Without further ado, let me introduce you to Harvey (brindle boy) and Beryl (fawn pied girl). We are so grateful for our friends and family who have helped us and continue to check on us durning this time! I know many are in the same boat and we are fortunate that we are all okay and don’t have any major damage. Hoping we can all be back to normal soon. 🙏

It’s a bittersweet day today, Sahara is headed to her forever home with her new momma. She has been the best girl and I am sure going to miss her. Sahara has had three beautiful litters for us, and was such a good mom. She’ll be close by one of her baby girls and they’ll get to hang out and play together, I know she’ll love that! Help Mickey’s family find him, please share our post! 🐾

Mickey is 7 weeks old today, he is ready to fly the coop next weekend. He is AKC registered, current on vaccinations/deworming, vet checked, microchipped, and has had his first monthly dose of heartworm, flea and tick preventative. He’s a tiny and compact little guy just like his mom and dad. We think he’ll stay under 20 lbs full grown. And just look at that adorable face! 😍

Mickey’s parents are both full health tested (OFA & genetic) and he comes with a a health guarantee. As well as a goody bag that includes toys, treats, food, and a blanket that smells like home. Transport is available via flight nanny if you’re not local and able to pick up!We are located in Wharton, Texas, an hours drive from Houston.

Happy 4 weeks to the cutest little duo! Mickey and Minnie are doing so well. They’ve been doing really well using puppy pads the last week, so we introduced the litter trays today. They got their 4 week deworming and neopar vaccinations this afternoon. Hard to believe we’re already halfway to them going home with their families! Pupdate on Apricot, now Mia 🩷🐾

She has been such a good puppy and my dad loves her. He named her Mae. She’s playing and loves to cuddle and nap. She’s been doing really good potty training too! She’s a smart little thing. My dad has been so down and his health has been up and down so we have not seen him smile and have joy again. Even my mom has fallen in love with her.

It’s National Puppy Day! And we get to spend it with new babies. 🥰 Introducing Sahara’s final retirement litter, sired by Tito! These sweet babies were born yesterday afternoon. Two handsome boys and one beautiful girl. One of our little boys has a cleft palate and went home with a vet tech to be tube fed (puppies with clefts cannot nurse). So far all babies and momma are doing great. ♥️

This sweet and goofy girl is still looking for an amazing guardian family! Sahara is a good girl. She loves everyone, and is happiest being with her people. She will follow you everywhere and takes advantage of any chance to snuggle up with you on the couch. She is great with other dogs (I prefer her to go to a home with a dog companion), with cats, kids, etc. loves car rides and going places with you. She is 100% crate trained, but she occasionally will have accidents in the house if I don’t make sure she goes out often enough. She will have one more litter and then be “retired” from breeding and enjoy the spoiled pet life with her family. What is a Guardian Home? A guardian home is a permanent, loving, forever home for a dog in our breeding program. This allows them to stay with one family and receive all the love and attention of a one-on-one pet! Being a guardian home means that you get a wonderful companion while they're still a part of our breeding program. Does it cost anything to be a Guardian family? There is no cost for the puppy or dog, but you are responsible for the normal costs of dog ownership such as daily care, grooming, heartworm and flea preventative, vet visits, etc. We may do a home visit and require you live within 3 hrs of Wharton TX. Must have a fenced in yard and own your own home. An invisible fence is suitable for males but females must have a physical fence. The dog must be raised indoors and never left outside unattended. If you have a female, she would be left with us for around 1 week when she is in heat, return to you for her pregnancy, and then come back to us for around 9 weeks when she has a litter. Please make sure you are emotionally prepared to leave her with us for this period of time before agreeing to become a guardian home! If you feel your children or other pets would be too attached to have them leave for that long then a guardian home may not be a good fit.
