They are starting to get feisty!!!!! Love seeing their personalities starting to come out!!!
I haven’t update here in a while and we have several new faces around the kennel and some that have been here before. We are working hard to get started with hunt tests season next weekend and want to start highlighting some our dogs in house right now. Here is Sky owner by Aaron Green a future potential HRCH MH candidate. She loves the game and is an absolute phenomenal animal to work with. Extremely smart!!! Here she is getting ready to finish up the TT drill.
One of our new students here!! This is Queeney. She is here to do gun dog work but FIRST she must be obedient. Queeney loves to run but she doesn’t always like to come back. Got to get that obedience up to par before we can go any further!!! Queeney absolutely LOVES to retrieve and run. Looking forward to working with her.
Here is Sophie’s run from the first series this weekend. She did this all three series!!! Had an absolutely amazing run this weekend to qualify for Master National 2020!!! Now she gets to relax and raise puppies that are due on April 6th. This is a repeat breeding to NFC Foxx!!!! Contact me to get your name on the list for one of these puppies!!!!
Justin Jackson with Texoma Retrievers running Rock in the first series at Mid Goose Land/Water Combo. Great Job!!!
Here is our hardest test of the week so far. Luckily both dogs are sitting on twos coming in.
Here was our second series test dog today at Gunners up land.
Here is Ellie’s third series run today at the Waterloo Master flight b.
Here is Scoop in the honor bucket of his land series.
Here is Scoop’s title run on land on Saturday. He sure did look good!! @mcdonald6672
After training early in the morning, we’ve got to get some conditioning work in!!! Gotta get these dogs in the best shape for hunting season come September. Good conditioning in your hunting partners prevents injuries in them just like lifting and working out does for us. You wouldn’t expect to go run a marathon without training why would you expect your canine athlete to do the same come hunting season?
