Pet Rescue Adoption Center and Pet Supply store is located in the Rockaway Mall in Dover, NJ. You'll discover adoptable dogs and cats from Eleventh Hour Rescue, as well as dog & cat care items. Stop by for a visit and meet our wonderful pets and staff. You are welcome to request to visit with a dog in a private room even if you're not ready to adopt. The dogs will never turn down an opportunity to

get a break from their crate and receive affection from friendly people. If we're not too busy we're happy to make this happen! ADOPTION APPLICATION & PROCESS

If you are considering adopting a pet we recommend that you complete an adoption application to become pre-approved. The application approval process typically takes 1-3 days depending on volume. Once you have been approved you can visit our website to see a full list of adoptable dogs and cats available through Eleventh Hour Rescue. We encourage you to visit our Rockaway Mall store (7 days a week) or our Roxbury Mall location (weekends only). Pre-approval is not required to visit our locations but is required to proceed with an adoption. Becoming pre-approved now will take reduce the waiting period when you meet your perfect match and prevent the dog or cat from being adopted by another family while your application is under review. Adoption applications may be submitted through our website www.ehrdogs.org. You may also complete your application while you are in our Rockaway Mall store. ABOUT ELEVENTH HOUR RESCUE

Eleventh Hour Rescue is a fully registered 501C(3), nonprofit, 100% no-kill, volunteer based organization dedicated to saving the lives of innocent dogs and cats on death row. These are pets that deserve love and a place to live where they are honored and cared for. No dog or cat deserves to die simply because it does not have a home. Many of them are rescued at their Eleventh Hour-- when they are scheduled to be put to death by shelters that can no longer care for them. We give the dogs and cats all the medical attention they require, a place to live, and through our extensive adoption services, a second chance at a happy and fulfilled life. We are affiliated with many like-minded animal groups throughout the United States. Eleventh Hour Rescue is not subsidized by any government grants and receives no major corporate funding. We rely solely on the generosity of our volunteers, the community, and animal lovers everywhere. When finding a loving home for one of our pets, we make a promise to them before they leave. While they will never be replaced in our hearts, a new life will take their place in our homes. Since our inception in 2004, we have filled that promise thousands of times over. If we can bring comfort to just one, we will. If we can save just one life, we will. The stories we read and each pets’ story is heart-wrenching, the numbers of those we can help are overwhelming, and every day we are haunted by the faces of those we can't save. We cannot stop. “We will not stop, until all of the cages are empty...”

Sorry for the post delay! 😻 at our last Mall Mingle dog adoption event on 8/4 we invited our new PAWSOME Kids Club to participate! It was so much fun having them join us to learn more about rescue work…the adoption process! During events we also include can shakes to help with puppy and kitty care which is always needed (and appreciated 🐶😻). The club members that were available that day were ABSOLUTELY PAWSOME! (Two of them actually adopted their furever friends during the event! One puppy one kitty!) Congratulations! And great job to our PAWSOME Kids! 🙌😻🐶
