Made another little upgrade at the kennels this evening. We installed 1 of eventually 3 overhead fans.
We noticed after weeks of crazy winds the last few days have gotten pretty warm in the kennels. Im pretty sure the dogs will appreciate a little air movement.
This will also aid in drying the floor faster after cleaning. Win, Win!!

Gotta brag on this little guy here for a sec.
This is Sancho, one of my special case dogs. Sancho had a pretty rough start in his life/training career. But even after all of that, this pup amazes me everyday he comes off the trailer for more training. His desire to learn and his ability to understand what I'm wanting is amazing
He knows no quit, his focus to detail, and his ability to remember marks at this age is unreal.
As Sancho finishes out his basic training with us and gets ready to go home I want to say, "It's been a pleasure working with you Mr Sancho."
And thank you to the Dorrell family for trusting me with your pup.

The dogs spent the evening out in the yards enjoying the sun. But it's time for bed now. We have all the doors closed keeping the crazy wind out.

During training this week Jackie took a few pictures of some of the dogs working.
It's such a joy to see the progress made each week. All of these dogs started as 5 month old puppies that barley knew there name. Now they're shaping up to be quality retrievers.
