🐾 Meet Chloe, our brave 5.5-year-old Pug who recently had corrective surgery to help her breathe easier!

Did you know that Brachycephalic Airway Disease can be life-threatening for our flat-faced friends? Many brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Shih Tzus) can struggle with breathing due to their unique anatomy - short nose, closed nostrils, and elongated soft palate. Even minor stressors like heat, extra weight, or a simple vet visit can lead to serious breathing difficulties.

Chloe underwent two crucial procedures: stenotic nares repair (opening closed nostrils) and soft palate resection (removing excess throat tissue). These surgeries can provide immediate relief and significantly improve the quality of life for our flat-faced friends. Despite her age and managed allergies, she's recovering wonderfully!
