After 25 years, Blue Ribbon Grooming will be closing it’s doors on September 25,2021. The ever-changing effects of COVID on our business led us to this extremely difficult decision.

FYI...since we’re all outside more these days...

Attention, forest preserve visitors: An active blue-green algae bloom has been confirmed at Herrick Lake at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve in Wheaton. This can make pets, children and people with weak immune systems sick if they ingest or inhale water that has algae present.

• Don’t touch the green algae scum.

• Keep your pets away from the water, too.

• If contact is made, wash your skin (or your pet’s fur) thoroughly as soon as possible.

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County takes our visitors’ safety seriously and is monitoring this lake in cooperation with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
