Our veterinarians recommend twice yearly exams for our patients because preventative care can greatly extend your pet's lifetime. When your dog o

Due to a technical issue in Santa's workshop, the finished tree video wasn't ready in time for Christmas. However, here’s a look at our beautifully decorated pet ornament trees ! A big thank you to everyone who submitted pet photos to help make our lobby trees extra festive! If you would like to pick up your pet ornament, drop us a note and we will put it aside for you.

Whoa! You think we would get used to seeing these guys by now…

We have some good news for the kiddos!! 🧑‍🎄🦌

We interrupted another yearly inspection for our “Santa’s E.L.V.E.S.” (Emergency Landing and Veterinary Expert System) certification. We passed! We received the email from Santa a few hours later! If the reindeer have any health concerns while flying through the Wheaton area on Christmas Eve, we are on call and will ensure that they receive whatever care they need to continue their travels.

We also received the Certificate Of Inspection for all nine reindeer. Just like your pets, Santa's reindeer need to be examined and issued health certificates in order to travel across national borders. AVMA President and Santa's official veterinarian Dr. Sandra Faeh examined the reindeer recently and even had to go to the North Pole for a special visit to ensure Dasher was ok! All the reindeer received full "RTF" ("Ready To Fly") status, so be prepared to hear on your roof "the prancing and pawing of each little hoof!”

Thank you to those who have submitted photos of their pets so far to help us decorate our Christmas trees! We’re enjoying the pictures of your adorable pets! If you are still planning to send a picture of your pet(s) photos should be submitted no later than Tuesday, December 17th to ensure they get printed and placed on one of our 🎄🎄
Photos should be sent to [email protected]. Keep in mind photos will need to fit in a smaller-than-wallet size ornament frame.

We received a photo of C**t, an 8-year-old Labradoodle, who prefers to relax on the couch during this first snowfall of the season. However Ruby, a 6-month-old Golden/Irish Setter mix, arrived at the hospital full of s***k and is absolutely thrilled seeing her very first snowflakes! Is your pet Team C**t or Team Ruby?
