Did your pet wake you up early today? โฐ๐ถ๐ฑ
Youโre not alone! With the time change, many pets need a few days to adjust (and letโs be real, some people too ๐)
Pets donโt use clocks like we do. Their daily routine is guided by their circadian rhythm, a biological clock that helps regulate when they eat, sleep, go potty and everything else in their day. Suddenly feeding and walking them an hour "later" than their internal schedule can feel unsettling and confusing.
Here are some ways to make the transition easier on your pet this upcoming week:
โ
Shift feeding and walk times gradually
โ
Add enrichment or playtime to distract from early hunger cues
โ
Offer an extra potty break, especially for puppies and seniors
โ
Stay consistent and patient, they've got this!
Just like us, pets benefit from a gentle transition and a little extra reassurance while their internal clocks reset. ๐
