As I wrapped up the last grooms before this holiday, I found myself feeling incredibly grateful for the little community that’s grown inside the MeowWoof Den.
Every wag, every purr, every nervous pup who slowly softens into trust — it all reminds me why I love what I do.

Running a small local grooming salon isn’t always easy, but you make it worth every early morning, every full schedule, every long day on my feet.
You support my business, yes — but you also support my passion, my purpose, and this beautiful Pack we’ve built together.

This Thanksgiving, I’m especially thankful for:

✨ The shy or anxious ones who learn to trust a little more each visit

How’s your energy today?

If things feel a little tired, stretched thin, or just “meh,” that’s okay.
This season has been a lot for so many — emotionally, mentally, hormonally (hi, perimenopause 👋🔥), and everything in between.

But here’s the reminder that always matters:

✨ You don’t have to have it all figured out today.
✨ It’s okay to pause and breathe.
✨ It’s okay to take care of yourself in the middle of taking care of everything else.

And if nobody’s told you yet this week, you’re doing better than you think. Truly.🫶🏻💜

💖 Friday I’m in Love — and Here’s a Little Heart-to-Heart 💖

Happy Friday, Packies!
You know I absolutely adore every pup and kitty that comes through MeowWoof — foster babies, shelter pups, rescues, seniors… all of them. 💛🐾
And my heart is always in the right place when it comes to helping animals in need.

But I want to gently share something that many people don’t realize:

✨ Even as a small grooming business with a big heart, I still have to cover water, electricity, products, tools, laundry, rent, and the time it takes to safely groom each pet.
✨ Even “just a bath” for a foster dog still uses shampoo, conditioner, dryers, towels, electricity, warm water, and my professional labor and training.

I wish I could offer free services to every rescue or foster, but as a small local business — it’s simply not sustainable.
I truly do help in the ways I can, when I can. 🫶

⛔ DIY TUB UPDATE – TEMPORARILY CLOSED

With the busy holiday rush here, I’ve decided to temporarily close the DIY wash station for the remainder of the year. Any that are already on schedule can still come, just no other DIY times available.
I want to make sure all scheduled grooms are handled with full attention, zero stress, and plenty of Synergy. ✨

The DIY will reopen after the holidays — fresh, reset, and ready for the new year! 🛁🐶

Stormy weather can make our furry friends anxious — thunder, pressure changes, and static build-up can all affect how they feel.

At MeowWoof, we help calm those stormy-day nerves with soothing baths, pet-safe essential oils, and gentle energy to help your pets feel safe and secure.

💡 Pet Tip: Try playing calming music, diffusing lavender, or wrapping your pet in a snug towel to help them relax during storms. Regular grooming also helps reduce static and keeps their coat balanced and healthy through humid or dry weather!
