The microchip company Save This Life Microchips has unexpectedly shut down and unlinked it's database from the national registries.

These microchips remain safe and functional, however due to the shutdown owners want to make sure their pet's microchip information is accessible.

We have never carried this brand of microchip in our hospital. If your pet was microchipped through our hospital you have nothing to worry about and do not need to take any further action. If your pet was microchipped through the breeder or previous veterinarian please make sure of the brand and if unsure you may want to re-register your pet.
