🩷TRANSPORT🩷

Yesterday we finished a haul from TN up to Coventry, Rhode Island stopped up in Bristol, Vermont and then made our way back down to TN!!

PIC 1 - remember this pretty girl? Primrose is the horse we transported from South Carolina last week and she is now at her new home! And just look at how happy she is!!

PIC 2&3- picked up these beauties in Vermont! They were such great passengers and we brought them down to their new home in Woodlawn, TN

So glad we could help both of yall transport your hoof babies!

Picked this pretty girl up yesterday from SC and brought her back home! She isn’t halter broke but she is very curious about people and you can tell that she wants the attention just doesn’t know how to receive it. Be on the lookout for when she goes to her new home next week! 👀

Haven’t posted in a while with rodeos and saddle clubs going on, but today our longhorn mascot got her new eartag from Rowdy Herd Western Wear put in! It looks even better on her than I imagined!! Thank you so much for making it!

Our recent owner surrender is getting some weight on her and had some saddle desensitizing done and she took it like a champ, still a little bit afraid but definitely doing so much better.

🌺PEGGY UPDATE🌺

If anyone remembers about a month ago, our chestnut mare, got into a bad passenger accident ripping open her jaw and puncturing the side of her leg, she is now fully healed from it, and today was her first day back in the pasture with all her friends. They definitely gave her a nice welcome home 😂 I have no doubt she will return to alpha mare in no time.

🤎🍪COOKIE UPDATE🍪🤎

So with weeks and weeks of trying to get a farrier out for cookie, we decided to take matters into our own hands and clip the excess ourselves. We knew enough about the hoof anatomy to realize how much we could take off the toe and she is so much happier!! She’s actually running and you can tell she’s so much more relaxed when your messing with her feet now. We will get her sale ad up soon!

A very good trainer friend of mine has her donkey up for sale! He is a BLM branded b***o that she trained and showed and now he is looking for his new home! Winston is such a looker especially since he has really filled out since these photos were taken! If anyone you know is looking for a good donkey send them her way!

🛑Alert! Check your livestock feed for a recent recall - especially TN horse owners.

ADM Animal Nutrition has voluntarily recalled multiple brand names of their chicken feed, swine feed, cattle feed, and horse feed.

Horse feed Seniorglo 50-lb. bags - Lot 505426QN - were specifically sold in Tennessee. This product may contain increased levels of calcium, which could cause weight loss and the animal to become weak and listless. This product was distributed between Jan. 24, 2024, and Feb. 1, 2024.

It began with a customer complaint related to swine refusing to eat feed. ADM investigated and discovered that the company’s facility in Illinois had experienced an equipment failure that impacted ingredient distribution. Specific lots could contain harmful levels of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium sodium, and/or chloride.

🌟SPOTLIGHT🌟

This is Barney! He is a Mini Jerusalem Donkey stud that I have been working with for a little while, I haven’t been able to get out to him in a few weeks and was anxious how he would react. He absolutely blew my mind! He was so respectful of my space and the halter. He was very calm and reacted perfectly to my movements while leading around/ backing up. He never once got stubborn which is out of the ordinary for him! In the beginning he would always try to rear/bite/ mount so I’m very proud of him. Cant wait to see how he keeps progressing!
