UPDATE: Little Boy. At 6 weeks he was the runt, weighing 3.5 lbs. he now weighs over 50 and I would say he’s being spoiled by his Foster Parents @ City Dogs City Kitties DC . Love is a Four Legged Word! Y’all have no idea how happy I am for Him!

This Month my community service as Mrs Coastal Cape Fear was Hometown Hero! We were allowed to choose our own hero! I chose Silvia Kim. She and her nonprofit A Shelter Friend has saved so many lives in rural Bladen County. She is the hardest working lady I know but doesn’t like attention to her efforts but I truly know she is beyond deserving of recognition! To celebrate her I donated treats and a new mop and mop bucket to the shelter plus went yesterday and put in a few extra hours in the wash pit! Yes the Wash Pit, cleaning and sanitizing cages and litter boxes, because I know that in order to save lives you truly must be willing to be uncomfortable and be willing to do whatever it takes! She has one more surprise coming but she will have to wait til Saturday! If you can spare a dollar or $5 please help me celebrate her as well by going to her rescue page and donating so we can save more four legged fur babies!Love truly is a four legged word!

Update; Lil Boy, the Runt of the litter left last night for City Dogs of DC. He is now Nick and he’s ready for Foster! I’ve cried today but it’s been all proud Mom Tears!

The Hot Messes are walking off leash. They do get ahead but they do stop and come back or wait for us. They want that 🌭 after the walk!

We had fun today , first we went to Bay Tree and walked the Trail and went swimming, then we came and hung out in the yard with the old man for a bit. We have a splash pad and a pool over here . More pictures to come. Oh and Moms going to do a video later.

Approximately 11wk old, mixed breed. They have been at shelter for 3wks and have had zero interest. Puppies cannot stay long at shelters when there’s so much disease that comes through, they need out ASAP. Shelter needs more space for more puppies to come in so these puppies will not stay much longer.
