Confidence building class tonight. We are going to get up on the obstacles and have some fun!!! We will build our bonds and have fun doing it!

This thursday is the agility class! It is not for agility training. The obstacles are used to help build trust, body awareness, confidance, and over fun!

CANCELED CLASS THURSDAY 8/1

Class tonight (8/1/2024) at Duck lake park is being canceled due to the heat and humidity. Its to hot for both people and dogs to be outside working for an hour. Stay safe stay cool.

Next weeks class is the only sign up location so if you are interested please message me to get address and more info!!

Class tonight is in South Lyon. We will be meeting in the Farmers market parking area. 6-7pm $20

Please bring lots of treats and a 6-10 foot leash (no need for a longer leash) we will be doing loose leash exercises and of course obedience!

Ziya got a new baby brother on Friday. Meet Knox. He is a 12 week old Aussie. So far he likes mom, dad, food, and sleep. He is learning to like the leash, outside, his other four legged friends, and the kennel. This is Tom's dog.... we will see how long that last 🤣😂.

Anyone with a young puppy looking for socialization get ahold of me. We can do a meet up as long as vaccines are up to date for puppies age.

Congrats to Nova amd Stella for passing the Puppy Basics class!!!!

Mr. Buddy got to practice for the CGC test and is almost there.

All three have made so much progress and I am happy to see them grow and mature over the last several weeks.

Happy graduation day to these adorable puppies. After testing we got to have a playdate and this group sure knows how to play hard after working hard.

Can you get your puppys attention while in motion?

Here I am demonstrating with one of the puppies in class.

Little miss Georgie was a bit timid with me just 3 weeks ago and her mom has done a great job getting Georgie socialized and gaining confidence, two very important factors when raising a puppy.

With all the rain and icy dirt roads out there, please comment below how the roads are by you and where those roads are.

We have puppy class tonight and i cant drive around all the area roads to know how bad they are. 😀

For those who are in puppy class, i olan on still having class as of right now 2pm but when i get off work amd take the back roads home i will know how the more well traveled main roads are. I will contact everyone before 5pm if class is canceled (usually by 430 for weather related cancelations)

Got some photos of the dogs before the parade. Lots of blurry ones (im sorry they didnt turn out). It was alot of fun and i want the THANK EVERYONE for coming out!!!! Dayna, yet again, did an amazing job at setting it all up!

Enrichment games/toys are so great for your dog.

This is your reminder to allow for sniff walks! These decompression walks are important esp if you do not practice them often! These walks are 95% of my walk with ziya. She is on a 30ft long line but the concept is the same. 🙂

Basic training is really just this simple. This gives you a good start to build off of. I do this with Ziya everyday still.

This is my homecoming everyday. This is her calm guys. She gets alot crazier. So when i say she is crazy i actually mean it. Her excitement is what we work on all the time. Sometimes she is behaved, sometimes she is not. Your puppy is always going to have quirks, and perfect is something you should never expect. Happy monday everyone!

We did a 5k obstacle run with the dogs this weekend. It was so much fun. I highly suggest doing this with your pup.

Play time

Just get out there and play for five mins. Get engagement, get excited, have fun, and do it all on a long line (30 ft or more to ay fetch). At the end give treats for a job well done. Do it, i dare you

What is an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class?

Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibilty (S.T.A.R.).

This is a program designed to get puppies (under 1 year of age) and their owners off to a great start. This class teaches you how to communicate with your puppy and socialize with other puppies and people. You will learn how do teach your puppy basic commands such as sit, stand, down, stay, come when called, and more! Puppies must attend 6 classes to receive a certificate.
