Southern C Enclosures has always been a dream of mine. I grew up fascinated by reptiles, amphibians, and colubrids. As I got older I was allowed to get my first reptile (leopard gecko) and the fascination turned into a love for them. Since my first reptile I have kept corn snakes, bearded dragons, and leopard geckos. I always loved making hides and platforms for them to enjoy and have enrichment. In the past few years I have started building there terrariums and it has become a passion of mine. When shopping around I see the prices of the big name glass terrariums and think I could make that and it wouldn’t cost nearly that much. So then came the thought of making well made enclosures that were affordable. I would spend hours on end drawing and designing enclosure ideas I’d have that I had never come across while researching ”DIY reptile enclosures”. Designs that were not only functional and adequate for them but also aesthetically pleasing besides just a wooden box with doors. My dream is to make Southern C Enclosure stand out from the rest not only in price but with unique terrariums as well. But like my grandpa always said “you can dream all day but what are you gonna do to make that dream a reality”, so this is my first step with the hopes of many steps to follow.
