I hear about other trainers talking about our family’s methods being “outdated”. That’s ridiculous. No other method has existed longer in dog training. Rudd heard the haters. His reply? “The dogs haven’t changed so why should the method?”. Our method doesn’t look at all dogs as the same. Using electronic collars isn’t my go to for every dog. I rarely use them. I called my method “organic”; not “outdated”. I train based on the dog; not the “method”. My greatest compliment? “He doesn’t train like anyone I’ve seen before”.

Our two Yorkie boys (littermates) had suddenly decided they didn’t like each other anymore and were having absolutely terrible fights and we were having to keep them separated for fear they might kill one another. We had Robert Weatherwax come to our home and within 10 minutes he had our dogs side by side and after only 2 visits they are back to playing and getting along again! His training worked great! He was very professional and friendly and has some fascinating stories! We are so thankful to have found him and if we ever have any other issues he will be the first person we call! We would recommend him to anyone needing help with their dogs!

One man training service dogs here in East Texas has a resume and an impressive lineage that sounds like something out of a Hollywood movie...in fact, he and his family have trained dogs for many movies.

adopted a 3 year old Jack Russell named Jack who had severe behavior issues such as: trying to bite other dogs and people, excessive barking and destruction of property. I could not take him on walks nor have visitors to my home without confining him. Two trainers before Bob had no success and I was at my wits end when a friend told me about Bob. Jack was now 6 years old and I had my reservations of successful training of a dog his age. Bob was patient, loving and firm with Jack and me. He taught me how to maintain the training and also trained me as well ! He was punctual and would tailor each session to Jack's particular stamina that day. Bob is a perfectionist, he believed in Jack and he would not rest until he brought out all of Jack's good personality traits while exorcising the bad behavior. He worked with Jack at crowded public places, at home, and around other dogs extensively. Bob proved to me that he indeed could teach an "old" dog new tricks ! As a testament to the amazing transformation that Bob gave Jack: I made Jack a service dog to my mom going everywhere she went and Jack accepted a rescue dog into my home for three years without issues. Sadly, Jack succumbed to cancer last June. I tried desperately to save him, and he was in the hands of several specialists and underwent many procedures. I heard over and over again how good and sweet Jack was with everyone. I said to myself "if you only knew !". Thanks Bob, for your help to give us the last few years of sheer joy with Jack...we will never forget you.

It is with terrible sadness this morning to announce the passing of my dear friend Bob, (Mr.B) Weatherwax. I'm lost for Words.....
