The office will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th at 8am. If you pet needs immediate medical attention please call the Veterinary Emergency Group, 914 949 8779. We will everyone a healthy, happy Memorial Day weekend!

In an effort to keep our clients safe, we received our first batch of Hand Sanitizer Sprays (80% Alcohol). They will be available for purchase starting Monday March 23. They are being sold for $8 per container with a limit of 6 per person.

As a reminder, we are trying to limit the lobby to as few people as possible. We encourage you to order and pay by credit card over the phone. Call when you arrive at the animal hospital and we will bring your order to your car or just have one person come inside to pick it up.

At the Animal Hospital of White Plains, we are committed to keeping our community, clients, and staff safe. We are implementing the following protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus:

- If you come here for an appointment:
Let us know you are here either by phone or have 1 person come in.
We will es**rt you directly into a room or ask you to wait in your car until the doctor is ready.

- If you need to pick up food or medication:
Please try to call ahead so we can prepare your order and charge your card over the phone.
Call when you are here and we will bring it out to you or have 1 person come in to pick it up.
If you did not call ahead, place your order and kindly wait outside until it is ready.

- Please limit the lobby to only 6 people at a time and keep 6 feet away from people not in your group.

- If you or your family member has had any symptoms of illness in the past week:
Please postpone your appointment until symptom free for 2 weeks.
In an emergency please have a third party bring your pet.

We would like to warmly welcome Dr. Deborah Sarfaty to the Animal Hospital of White Plains team! Dr. Sarfaty graduated from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980 and did a medical residency at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. She has authored numerous veterinary publications and was an instructor for 3 years at the LaGuardia Veterinary technician program. She has practiced veterinary medicine in the area for over 39 years, including owning her own practice for 28 years. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are confident she will uphold the high standard and compassionate care you are used to receiving. She will be available for appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
