Our next series of posts focuses on Ma*****na toxicity in pets. Increased accessibility for humans means pets also have an increased chance of accidentally interacting with the drug. More cannabinoid receptors in dogs and cats means they are at a higher risk of an adverse reaction even to very small amounts. See below for more info and stay tuned for future updates.

Our second look into responsible dog ownership focuses on the puppy stage. While your sweet puppy may not be ready for Canine Good Citizen training just yet, there are 5 Basic Cues you can start to teach your pup (see below) in order to give him/her a good, responsible foundation.

Our next posts will share important info on being a responsible dog owner. Of course, one needs to be prepared for all the physical needs related to pet parenthood (food, medical care, grooming, etc.), but ensuring your dog is well behaved in and out of the home is critical as well. The AKC runs a Canine Good Citizen program that trains dog and owner on how best to be responsible together.
