Fair warning, due to the warm conditions and lack of snow we have limited access to runs on Whitefish Mountain, backside is open but not the frontside. we are downloading on chair 1. We can only download one out of three chairs due to weight limitations so beware if you’re coming up, there could be a wait. hope hopefully we’ll get some snow in soon and we could discontinue the downloading. Here is a pic for the wait to download this afternoon.

WARNING! A wind chill warning is in effect all day. With the recent snowfall on Whitefish Mountian resort it came with a 20-30 mph North wind. Wind chills are in the -47 at 7:00 am this morning. The top lifts did not run yesterday and I would bet that they will be delayed today. Good luck!

“fog mountain” AKA Whitefish Mountain resort. Typically fog rest in the summit but today was especially brutal. This is Chair one at 11:24 am, it did not get any better all day. If you choose to move here be prepared for many “Fog” days.

Sven has spoken of to a powder day! Good news is: With 9” falling in the last 24hrs should make for some excellent skiing. Bad news is: You will have to deal with the holiday crowds

Swen the powder hound says: Be careful off piste, early season conditions are prevalent, many snow snakes. Received 7inches yesterday on piste runs have good coverage.

Well the Farmers Almanac forecast for this upcoming-winter has been posted, And hold on, and grab your boards because they have predicted a
“PARADE OF SNOWSTORMS”
for 2019/2020 North West region! Very good news for Montana.

Montana had a slow start to the season but it is ramping up to do what we do best, Skied Whitefish for the last 3 days still powder stash’s to be found but be careful still early season conditions lots of logs and obstacles out there. HAVE FUN
