This was a special project and a special sheep. This ram was archery killed in the Missouri River Breaks and the whole right side of his face had been caved in from fighting. As you can see the bone regrowth in the european mount. This left him with a popped and shriveled eye ball on the right side which i recreated for the mount using reference photos. I also did replica horns for my first time on this ram, leaving the real horns on the euro mount. Lots of hours into this piece but I’m happy with the results.

Just back from an epic Alaska adventure, looking forward to doing this mount some day!
