Fawn and Jiji are very sad. They did everything right and the chance of a lifetime to be adopted together but through no fault of their own their forever home fell through. They are still searching for someone to love. They do not need to be adopted together. They are very friendly. Spayed and up to date with age appropriate vaccines. Can someone give them another chance at a forever home?
They will be at Petsmart in Whitehall on Saturday from 11-2. Apply on our website and come to meet them.

She has been ✨ l o v i n g ✨ lounging around, exploring, pooping on the bed, and hanging with her foster siblings. Sally has flourished being at her foster’s house! She is a true testiment to how important foster homes are for shelter animals. Our fosters provide the comfort and care necessary for our animals to thrive!

Many have seen, King listed for some time now. Many still question why he is still with us.

Not all dogs are easy adopts. Some dogs come with rough backgrounds and some breeds are just more challenging to work with. King has both, sadly. And the longer in a shelter, decline often sets in.

Our volunteers have seen this and are getting King off site as much as possible.

Tatum, owner and trainer at Beyond Behavior Dog Training has chosen King to work with. Take a look at this video!

King isn't going to be for every family, we know that. However, if you do have some big dog breed experience, more of a laid back lifestyle not busy with alot of people, and are looking for a rewarding "project" let us know.

It may take a few meets off site for King to trust you but once he does he will be your best friend. He didn't like Tatum at 1st, lol but look at him now!

He does like other dogs, mostly female. And when off site, he doesn't seem to bother with others. In the home is where we would expect his protective side to come out and need work on. We are willing to help with costs towards training.

Meet Bart! Bart is a 4 ½-month-old Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix (born 10/30/2024). This tiny boy was surrendered to PK and has been in foster for the past several weeks. Bart is extremely playful! He enjoys the company of other dogs, both big and small, and likes kids, as long as they play nice with him. One of Bart’s absolute favorite things in the world is to receive belly rubs. As a puppy, Bart is still working on learning how to be a good house pup. He is working on potty-training, but still has some accidents in the house. 🖤Meet Ghesso🖤

Ghesso is a high energy, busy as can be little guy. He is always on the move; from finding toys to pounce on or places to investigate, Ghesso is always in the middle of any chaos in the cat room 🤪

Ghesso was raised by workers at a construction site in Allentown. When he arrived he had whisks of white paint all over him which earned him his name.

Ghesso, being in his naughty juvenile years, has been working hard on his manners. When he arrived at the shelter he didn’t know how to ask politely for attention and would jump up the legs of his volunteer friends. Growing up on a construction site he was never taught such manners. Ghesso Is a smart kitty though and is making progress everyday!

Ghesso would do great in a home either by himself or with a very playful high energy cat to match his energy. Because he engages in rough play a home with no children is ideal.

Ghesso is around 8 months old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for leukemia/fiv, and is microchipped.

Say hello to Ruby, a happy-go-lucky female coonhound who was transferred to PK from another rescue. Ruby is around 4 years old and weighs 70 lbs. Ruby recently gave birth to a litter of adorable puppies and did a marvelous job raising them. Her motherly duties are complete and she is ready for a forever home. Ruby is outgoing, upbeat, and delighted to meet everyone. Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her, and she jumps up on people to say hello. True to her hound roots, she can be vocal at times, especially when she passes other dogs on her walks, but that’s only because she is so thrilled. You see, Ruby loves other dogs! Ruby is strong so she’ll need an owner who can manage her strength. We think Ruby would make a great family dog, though she might be too much for very little kids. We can cat test her upon request. Can you believe that not 1 person looked at or asked about Gary last Saturday?! Don't let 7 years old fool you. 1st, that is typically a best guess when it comes to shelter pets. 2nd, his teefs are pearly white and healthy. 3rd, he can keep up on walks, no problem. 4th, he loves playing with other dogs, 5th he isn't needy and will entertain himself! We could keep counting but you get the idea!!

🎶 Double, double, we’re not trouble. Three years still homeless, but we don’t grumble. 🎶 👻 Always wanted a black cat, but you’re allergic? How about two beautiful black bunnies! Jelly and Bean have been with us for over THREE years! It’s no secret that black animals often wait the longest for their furever homes. We think these gentle boys are quite the stunners!

With October being pitbull awareness month, Homie wanted to make you aware that he is available for adoption! 😆 This guy's past is confusing and unknown. Homie came to us a little over a month ago when his owner gave a homeless man $20 to take him. Homie was then walked to the shelter and dropped off. 😬 With no info to confirm, Homie was observed and carefully monitored, vetted, and socialized with the volunteers and most recently other dogs! What we found out is that this boy LOVES everyone and will just climb onto your lap for pets. He has also been around several dogs and is doing well. So October isn't over yet! You can still adopt Homie and be able to tell all your friends that you saved a pitbull for pitbull awareness month! 🤷‍♀️🥰 Video is of Homie and his new friend, Max.
