The Dollar Club, helping animals one dollar at a time

The Dollar Club, helping animals one dollar at a time We fundraise to help animals needing emergency vet care & help colonies with food in emergencies. All animals in your household must be spayed/neutered. P.O.

Many people want to help animals but most cannot afford to contribute a large amount of money to several different needy animals. With this new concept, we have found a way for everyone to help for one single dollar bill. Here is how it works:

When we come upon an animal needing emergency vet care we post the story on our page and our website. We usually grant $100 instantly and then pos

t it on our Facebook and our web-page in the hopes our fans and friends will send more donations in. We include the treating vet phone number, our mailing address and paypal account for the animal in need so you can donate directly any of those ways. Many people donate directly to us and that is how we can grant $100 instantly. But if you prefer, you can donate directly to each animal as you see fit. YOU get to feel GREAT for being a part of saving that animals life for one small dollar! We are now a 501c3 registered non-profit charitable organization

Requesting assistance

Please read the entire page:

We help fund raise for emergency life or death situations. If you are asking for help, you must include a complete description of the emergency, THE VETERINARIANS OFFICE AND PHONE NUMBER, a photo of the animal and the link to your fundraising site (if you have one). You must supply proof that you applied for CareCredit or Scratch Pay. You must have a PUBLIC post on your own personal page asking family and friends for help. For cat colonies in dire need of food, you must supply the name and mailing address of the recipient. Please also include the type of food being fed. If you are requesting help for someone else, you must include everything stated above. DO NOT just send a link to a facebook plea without the contact information of the person or group needing the help. We do not fund routine care. We do not help pay off bills that have already been incurred. We do not fund cancer treatments, tumors, spay/neuter or FIP treatments. (We just get too many requests for those and we are not a big enough group to assist with those). We usually only grant small amounts like $100 (or more based on how much we have in our account at the time). We hope others will send more to add to the donation. Our main focus is to get the animal in to see the vet for emergency life/death situations. We can often try to raise more and we will ask our donors for additional help if need be. Donations MUST be made directly to your vet providing the care. NO EXCEPTIONS. PM us the information required through this page. DO NOT request assistance on this post it is not monitored. Remember, the more donations we receive the more animals we can help. It is our hope that the people and groups that we help, donate back to us. We only ask for $1.00. Box 535 Whitehall, Pa 18052

We have another feature on this crappy SNOWY/ICY Saturday. I wish winter would end. I hate thinking of all the suffering creatures:

2-15-25 Valentine - very sick kitty

Update 2/14 @3 pm.
Valentine is a boy. Under a year old. Labs are crappy but he is fiv/felv negative. He's going to stay in the hospital on IV fluids and antibiotics and other meds. He is definitely not out of the woods but hopefully he rallies soon. The doctor sent me a few pictures of him in the hospital and I added them to this post. Any help would be appreciated.

We need good vibes/ prayers/positive thoughts.
My husband and I were just walking out of CVS getting a birthday card for a friend and this poor Kitty was just laying next to a planter out front of the store... of course people just walking by ignoring her. She looked up at us and let out a soft meow and CatDaddy picked her up and we drove straight to the vet. When the vet grabbed her she said it doesn't look good.
They are working on her now but she is Completely covered in wounds and extremely emaciated with white gums.
If she doesn't make it at least we know she knew love for 30 minutes. We named her Valentine.

Update on tiny panther:

Update: Hershey made it through the surgery! The tumor was 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The vet removed the crushed 4 inches of his intestines that the tumor was living on and re-sectioned his intestines. This poor angel was literally starving to death.
Please share his situation and donate: his surgery and medical treatment is over $3000 so far.

And we have one more feature for the day

2-14-25 Tiny Panther - stomach obstruction

This tiny panther has a huge mass in his abdominal area that is blocking his food intake. There is no option: the mass has to be removed. His surgery is this Friday. His mouth is full of ulcers, he is throwing up, and is losing weight. Any donation to help with his medical bills is most appreciated.

Good morning and Happy Valentines day! I have a feature for a poor sick doggy who seems to have many issues going on:

2-14-25 Gunner - sick dog with many issues

Gunner needs vet care and his Daddy has been trying to find a job to have funds to take him but no luck 😞 Gunner is not in the best of health. I'm thinking he has some kind of infection in his mouth, possibly a couple teeth rotting? Red gums and he keeps pawing at his mouth and making noises with it. This is probably the most depressed I've ever seen him. He also has some eyelid tumors on both eyelids and also some black spots growing inside of his actual eyes, not sure what that is. There's kind of a clicking sound when he breathes in and out. He in general has breathing issues. He just started limping on his right leg yesterday. His gut problem never got under control. He could have anoplasmosis or Lyme for all I know. Very sad to see him this way. He is bloated with gut coughing and gagging at times. He has ear problems, he shakes his head and scratches his ears. I also noticed a lump on the side of his rib cage and one in his chest. It's not sounding good for Mr Gunner. I have been desperately desperately looking for a job but I live in a very small area and there's really not many people hiring that I can find. Just seems impossible to do anything in today's economy. I was wondering if there's some way we can make a post to at least get enough funds to bring him to an initial vet visit to see what may be wrong with him that would be amazing

Update on little Marshmallow:

I am so grateful for the help towards the vet bill on Friday. The total was $319. and your $100 was a tremendous help. Her ears are not completely healed yet so Dr Pickett put in a different medication that lasts for 10 days in each ear and put her on an oral antibiotic for 7 days. She also did bloodwork but haven’t gotten the results back yet. They will call me for another follow up appointment once the bloodwork comes back to see what is next. Also we discovered Marshmallow is blind. That will not make a difference in how I treat her though. She will have a place in my home no matter what. A soft bed, food to eat, toys, medical care and love and attention til her last breath, same as with my other 3.
I’m also grateful for the food and litter that I’ve received from you also. It makes a big difference knowing she will not be eating any skimpy meals for a long time!!!!!!!

Update on my little Cindy Susie Maria, the feral cat I trapped three weeks ago and had her spayed. I don't know, I guess she's coming around very, very slowly though

So it looks like we won't have that second case I mentiond yesterday. That poor suffering cat should be vetted immediately but the rescue group thinks they can handle her on their own. NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Good friday morning friends. I have 2 serious cases for today and then we will probably have to close down again as we don't have much in funding left. For this first one I called in $100 for the vet and sent a little bit of food. I will put the amazon food list in comments

2-7-25 Stray cat with severe ear problems

I finally captured a senior female stray that I’ve been feeding for many years. She would never let anyone get close to her and would run. We were fixing to have some freezing weather and I couldn’t bare the thought of leaving her outside. So now she is staying in my bathroom away from my other cats and I’ve taken her to the vet twice already. She has 2 severe ear infections that are being treated. Let me say that I’m a widow on SS and having a difficult time feeding my own cats. My husband died unexpectedly 11/2 years ago and had no insurance. But I cannot let a stray or feral cat go hungry. I go to food banks to feed myself and free clothing closets for my clothes. Only one food bank has pet food and it isn’t that much. The few items on my wish list are for Marshmallow (the stray) just to help me get started with her as I’ve got to come up with the money to finish up with her vetting. Thank you for your time.

We have a Big Guy update already:

Sherri ANn
RIP my sweet big guy, he passed peacefully yesterday at the vet by my side, after I tried all I could. He was too sick. The dollar club paid the majority of his bill graciously. Let’s donate in big guys honor and help this wonderful program to keep helping kitties like Big Guy. He is a perfect feature of what many of us like me needed and need help with. Thank you, god bless you all.

2-4-25 Big Guy very sick feral cat

**Urgent Help Needed for Big Guy the Cat**
I have been caring for a large colony of cats at the farm home I began renting a year ago. The cats were already living there when I moved in, and I've been working with a spay and neuter program to manage the population. One of these cats, "Big Guy," is about 8 years old and was dumped at the farm four years ago. Big Guy is very sick. I found him outside soaked with his eyes and nose sealed shut with mucus. I immediately brought him into my garage, wrapped him in a towel, and took him to the vet on January 28th. He received an antibiotic shot and a 12-day course of enrofloxacin, but his condition has not improved. He refuses to eat, so I have been dissolving his pills in warm chicken broth. Despite my efforts to keep him warm and cared for, Big Guy's health continues to decline. He can hardly walk and has been standing in his water bowl. Yesterday, I found him laying in his own urine and f***s. I cleaned him up and made sure he was warm and dry, but this morning his head is bobbing as if he has Parkinson's. I need to get him to the vet urgently, but I can't afford another bill right now, as I just paid for his last visit.
