Adoptable Dominick is the king of flops!
Dominick has been calling PK home since December when he was let loose in the snow to fend for himself. He is the absolute sweetest, most handsome boy ever with a heart of gold and he so deserves a home of his own! 💙
Our beautiful Vespa has shown how brave she is over the last week and a half that we have had her! She had been at an open intake shelter since the beginning of July and was extremely skittish and hand shy when we first pulled her a little over a week ago. She now is flourishing and loves to explore!
Sweet, beautiful Glory has been not having a great time since her spay yesterday. She has started eating and willingly takes her pain medicine like a champ, but as of this afternoon she still hadn’t 💩ed at all. As a precaution, we gave her some critical care and also got her to munch on some more hay (and made sure she romped around and explored the room to get some movement going). She is such a great patient! Ate a good amount of critical care right from the syringe and was enjoying her veggies in between syringes of critical care. She finally produced a few 💩s and we are hopeful she continues to do so!
Only true bunny lovers care this much about potty habits 😂
Happy Fourth of July to all our friends, big and small! Our Bunji girl (pictured) enjoys the freedom and comforts of rescued life. Unfortunately, not all bunnies (or cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, etc) have the same safe space and people who love them like she does. While she waits to one day have her furever home; she wishes that all of her furry friends have the same opportunity at a life well loved. She, as our current spokesbun, believes that all buns (and all animals) are endowed with their own certain unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We go through a lot of hay here every day at PK as hay should make up 80% of your rabbit or Guinea pig’s diet! This helps keep their little toofers filed down as well as keeps their digestive systems moving. We love hay!!
