Goodmorning,
We are currently experiencing a temporary outage with our phone system. We ask that you reach out to us via email or come into the office during business hours while this issue is being resolved. Due to Dr. Mark’s vacation our business hours for this week are today 8/6, Wednesday 8/7, Friday 8/9 from 8am until 3pm and Thursday 8/8 from 8am until 1pm.
We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this phone outage may cause and are more than happy to help via email or in person at the office.

We were able to celebrate Dr Chet’s retirement with a nice staff party with some older staff members that were able to join as well. We will truly miss Dr Chet so so much and we wish nothing but happiness and adventure in his next chapter. There is truly nothing like him ❤️

Hunterdon Hills Animal Hospital is happy to announce that Dr. Richard “Rick” Lyons has started working at HHAH several days a week seeing our valued clients and patients. Dr. Lyons attended the University of Pennsylvania veterinary school and has significant experience treating companion animals in Brooklyn and Northern New Jersey. Dr. Lyons loves spending time with his family, including his Dachshund Pringles and medium hair calico cat Lira. He also enjoys seeing live music, brewing beer, cooking, baking, and exercising.

Thank you to everyone who assisted in the rescue of Coonie the sheltie this morning who had escaped her owners when exciting her vehicle on their way for an appointment. She has been safely reunited with her family.

It is with heavy heart that we must inform you of the passing of our beloved Dr. Charles Westfield. Dr. Westfield had a great passion for treating his patients and helping his clients. He experienced deep satisfaction in practicing medicine and building Hunterdon Hills Animal Hospital to what it is today. We will strive to honor his passion and continue his practice. Multi doctor practice seeking part time/ full time veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistants to join our team.
Responsibilities include managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients and their pets, processing payments and performing daily reconciliation of all transactions; as well as ensuring the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times.
This position offers a flexible schedule requires 1-2 Saturday morning shifts per month.
Previous veterinary experience and knowledge of cornerstone software is a plus.
Compensation will be based on experience.
This is not a seasonal or temp position.
Cross training available to those with reception experience and want to assist in the clinical side of practice.
