Originally from Eastern Colorado, Abby Pageโ€™s journey in reining began at the age of nine, when she took her first lesson from NRHA Professional Drake Johnson. From that moment, she was hooked on the sport. By the age of seventeen, after years of determination and saving, she purchased her first reining horse and competed in her first NRHA event. Under Drakeโ€™s guidance, Abby trained her own non-pro horses, proving her talent and dedication early on.

In the non-pro divisions, Abby accumulated over $72,000 in earnings before making the big leap to the open ranks in 2014. She began working for Casey Deary on January of 2014, spending five invaluable years on the Deary Ranch before setting out on her own in January 2019.

Abbyโ€™s dreams came to life in 2019.

She was invited as a wild card entry in The Run for a Million, finishing 6th on Gotta Twist It Up. That same year, she became an NRBC Level 4 Open finalist with Gotta Twist It Up and a Level 4 Open Futurity finalist with Makendiamondsโ€”accomplishments made even more remarkable by having only one horse to show in each open event. Abbyโ€™s talent and hard work earned her a spot on The Last Cowboy, Paramountโ€™s hit TV series that followed top riders competing in The Run for a Million.

Since then, Abby has amassed over $634,892 in NRHA earnings and continues to set her sights on reaching the NRHA Million Dollar Rider mark. Her unwavering determination, paired with her passion for horse, ensures sheโ€™s well on her way to achieving this next milestone.

This is an assistant trainer position.
Experience training reining horses is required, show experience is a plus.
I need someone that is wanting to invest time into a program and is open minded and willing to learn.
There will be of a lot of hard work and long days, you must be a team player.
This job will consist of but is not limited to: saddling, warming up/cooling down, coaching Non-pros, riding (caliber of horses will depend on experience) showing (for the right individual) assisting with barn management etc.

this is NOT an intern position. Iโ€™m looking for a longer term individual that I can invest in. This will be a very hands on, one on one learning position, so Iโ€™m looking for someone who is truly passionate about horses and wants to invest long term.
