NRHA and NRBC enrolled also IRHA eligible. She’s been started late do to her size out of concern not to compromise her structure. She was initially started with in hand ground work quietly working her way up to under saddle sessions with short intervals of training. She knows all the reining manoeuvres with room for refinement. Her easy going attitude makes for a well guided and controlled smooth to sit ride in any gait. PREHAB

Prehabilitation is a proactive approach to identifying and treating horses' predisposed physical and mental weaknesses. Unlike a horse in rehab, the horse in prehab is sound while has not reached their optimum performance or has had some mishaps on the way to soundness.

​

It is our aim to prevent patterns of dysfunction from forming while meeting and supporting each horse's natural disposition, temperament, spirit, style, and workload with a customizable program.

​

After identifying pre-existing problems and system weaknesses, we create a customized treatment series to alleviate and resolve the identified vulnerabilities.

​

Our customized plans aim to:

​

→ Uncover biomechanical dysfunctions and adjust locomotion and posture accordingly

​

→ Prevent and reduce injury by working towards the best possible range of motion and achieving good fascial tension (not too tight or loose)

​

→ Enhance elasticity or flexibility to bring about trunk mobility on both sides of the spine. A horse's spine should undulate and feel snake-like when in motion, not stiff and tight like a broomstick

​

→ Improve proprioception: This is accomplished through brain stimulation and muscle connection stimulation to improve coordination, footing, and movement accuracy.



Symmetrical muscles generate strength in the body that is otherwise susceptible to injury.

​

Muscular Condition and Rebalancing: Following postural correction, the horse must receive and participate in a fitness plan for the muscle to rebalance.

​

→ Improve muscle strength, endurance, and symmetry: Strong and symmetrical muscles can function correctly for an extended time and support the body in a healthy posture.

​

→ Discuss environment, nutrition, hoof patterns, dental patterns, forces of support, equipment options, and exercise to bring about mental/physical connection and suppleness

​

We will work with you to create an ideal stability program for you and your horse to enjoy the best imaginable rides.
