Check out the Run 4 Rescue 5K - Whitesburg Fire Department!
The race will take place along the beautiful Tanglewood Trail!
Join us for the first ever Run 4 Rescue 5k - Whitesburg Fire Department.
All proceeds from the race will be used to support the Whitesburg Fire Department.
The 5k race begins at the Whitesburg Fire Department and the course will take you through parts of the Tanglewood Trail including the newly opened tunnel in beautiful downtown Whitesburg.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers.
Registration begins at 8:00am - Race time is 10:00am!

With only ten days to go, we want to remind everyone that the KSP Cruising with Cruisers Car Show show isn’t JUST a car show - it’s a weekend event full of family friendly fun for everyone! In addition to our new Friday night “Tru(c)k or Treat on the Hill”, we want to make our night time events legendary - so don’t forget our “King of the Mountain” Cruise-In on Saturday, October 14th - complete with our FREE FIREWORKS show!!

Thanks to Truth Ministries, we have a HUGE and beautiful scenic area on top of Pine Mountain for our use this year which will be adorned with Food Vendors - headlined by the Letcher County Central JROTC program! - as well as fire pits and s’mores galore! Games for everyone, including axe throwing! Live music on the stage starts at 5:45, and the evening ends with our soon-to-be-famous CwC FIREWORKS show!

We welcome all show vehicles to join in the police led cruise from the CWC show grounds where Police Departments from across the region, in conjunction with the Kentucky State Police will provide a lights-on es**rt to the top of the mountain starting at the CWC show grounds (old Whitesburg High School) around or a little after 5:00. Priority parking at the Forgiven Ministries grounds at the top of the mountain is given to show vehicles; plenty of free spectator parking is available very close at the Pine Mountain Trail overlook and parking area.

Mark your calendars and come show off your cars and trucks with us - while enjoying one of the most fun weekend events Letcher County has to offer ! From the Friday night Tru(c)k or Treat, the Saturday official Cruising with Cruisers car show, to the King of the Mountain Cruise-In and fireworks that night - there is no excuse for anyone NOT to have a good time in Whitesburg, KY on Oct 13-14! We can’t wait to see you there!
