😸Happy Caturday😸

Say “hello” to Trixie and Fifi! Their owner recently passed away and they are currently waiting to meet their furrever family. These 2-year old sisters would like to go to the same family but it’s not mandatory.

Trixie (the ginger cat) is more outgoing of the two and loves people. Fifi (the buff cat) is a bit more shy.

🚨 Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Pet Pantry at St. Joseph's in Lebanon on Saturday, January 4th has been canceled. We have rescheduled for Saturday, January 18th. If you need cat or dog food before then, you can stop by the shelter next week, Tuesday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM, or contact us by leaving a message at 877-473-6722 or emailing [email protected]. Meet Cutie!!

Cutie’s 2025 New Year’s resolution is to find her forever family! This young gal has been one of our longest residents at HSforBC and we would love nothing more than for her find a loving home! Here are some tidbits about Cutie:

💫She’s around 2-2.5 years old and weighs around 40 pounds.
💫She likes to go for walks and do lots of sniffing.
💫She loves enrichment boxes which are easy to make with any Amazon box you may have lying around from the holidays.
💫She is very affectionate and likes to cuddle on the couch with her people.
💫She likes to play with stuffed toys and can occupy herself.
💫She loves running around in the rain, so you may need to invest in a rain coat!
💫She is a very fast learner.
💫Cutie would do best in a home without cats or small animals.

We have a skeleton crew on Christmas Eve, so the shelter will be closed for donation drop-offs and general business on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, December 23rd, and Thursday, December 26th. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

⭐️Shelter Highlight⭐️

Say “hi” to Juno!! This sweet girl is under 2-years old and weighs about 48 pounds. She has her paws crossed that she’ll be able to ring in 2025 in her new home.

🦴She is a bit timid at first. Once she comes out of her shell she is very sweet and loving. ❤️
🦴She would thrive in a home with a resident dog (but it’s not a necessity) that can help build her confidence. She has made some dog friends at the shelter and loves to play with them.
🦴She’s good on a leash and enjoys going for walks. She’ll help you with your new year’s resolutions to get more steps in.
🦴She is working on crate-training right now. She enjoys the comfort of it and would do well with a family that either has someone that works from home or at the very least is home a lot.

Your compassion and generosity were absolutely on fire 🔥today! From the moment HSforBC posted the urgent plea for puppy food to help the abandoned puppies, we have been overwhelmed by your kindness. By the close of business, we received over 400lbs of puppy food! Our hearts are bursting with gratitude. Thanks to YOU, these sweet pups will have full bellies this holiday season. You’ve made a world of difference for them, and for that, we are incredibly thankful. ❤

🚨 Urgent Help Needed: Puppy Food Donations 🚨

We know we ask often, but the need for puppy food is greater than ever. Even in December, we’re still taking in puppies, including heartbreaking cases like pups found abandoned on the side of the road. 💔

We’re doing everything we can to help these little ones thrive, but we can’t keep up without your support! We’re in desperate need of high-quality puppy food like Purina Puppy Chow or Purina Pro Plan Puppy Food to ensure they grow up strong and healthy. 🐾

If you can donate, please drop off at 5366 S Indianapolis Rd, Whitestown, IN 46075 from noon to 5pm Monday to Friday, or visit links in comments to donate. Every little bit helps!
