Christmas is here in just a few short days and we are busy this week finalizing a few mounts. We hope you all have a blessed week and are taking this time to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Make some special memories with your loved ones!! This mount was harvested by a friend and his precious young children. We can’t wait for them to share in the conversations for years to come of that day they were together hunting. We love what we do, but mostly we love to hear the stories and the smiles behind the mounts. Happy Tuesday!!

Our first beaver and he was well insulated. To bad the customer wanted to keep his tail, because I was considering keeping it for a paddle. Never know who may need one around the taxidermy shop.

Not our typical post but I thought I would help the ladies out today. The gentleman can thank me later. Some ladies just have a difficult time decorating their homes around the taxidermy. I myself don’t want all my rooms filled with wildlife hanging all over the walls.

The fall season is a perfect time to incorporate some of your husbands taxidermy items in other areas of the home. Get creative!! I made this centerpiece from pheasant feathers lying around and hung his pheasant mount in the dining area. Happy Fall season!!

Tip of the day!

A little before and after of cleaning up a very old mount. All isnt It lost if they have gotten a bit dusty in storage. Nothing a little forced air, rag and water bottle want fix. This old couple cleaned up nicely and is back on a wall to enjoy.
