The previously posted found dog is now up for adoption at our office. As stated previously, he is an approximately 2 year old, intact male dog, and starting basic vet care.

‼️FOUND DOG‼️

This young intact male dog was found on our premises this morning and walked willingly into our office. Seems to have some road rash, but otherwise fine.

If this is your dog, please call our office at (910) 642-3776. If he is not claimed by today, the Animal Shelter will house him until his family is found or he is otherwise adopted out.

Dr. Martin will be out of the office this coming Monday and Tuesday, along with our normal no-doctor Wednesday scheduling. We will have staff available until 1 each day to address your needs.

She will resume normal business hours and scheduling on Thursday July 25th.

🐝 March 30th: CLOSED

🌷 April 1st-5th: No doctor/appointments. We will be open these dates from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm in order to schedule appointments, refill approved medications and address inquiries.

🌞 April 6th: CLOSED

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, April 8th, at 7:30 am.

Merry Christmas! We will be CLOSED December 23rd - 26th. There will be staff available until 1 pm on Wednesday, December 27 to fill approved medications and foods, but NO DOCTOR will be available. A Short Story

In 2001 Dr. Jeff Burroughs purchased Pittman Veterinary practice in Whiteville, NC.

Dr. Nicole Martin joined the team in June 2002, and purchased half of the practice in 2005.

In early 2007, Dr. Burroughs was offered an opportunity working with livestock. He just couldn’t resist getting back to his roots. He sold his share of Southern Veterinary Hospital to Dr. Martin in June of 2007.
