CONGRATULATIONS TO VIOLET AND VADA!
Violet and her kitten were adopted by Jon and his children, Whitney and Nicholas! We are so happy for Violet and Vada, and also for Jon and his children! LOOK WHO GOT ADOPTED !!
Hattie is one very lucky girl! She was adopted into her purr-fect home by one of our wonderful volunteers, Jennifer and her husband! They also adopted Jingo and Lily a short time ago! CONGRATULATIONS TO KRICKET !
Kricket has been waited for her perfect family to find her -- and this was the day she'd been wishing for! Kricket was adopted by Jerilyn and Bill into her furr-ever, loving home! Jerilyn is a good friend of our shelter and has adopted several cats over the years. Kricket is so lucky -- she has just been adopted by one of the Best Cat Mom's ever! We are so happy for Kricket and for Jerilyn and Bill. Thank you so much for adopting this sweet girl into your wonderful home !

WHAT AN EXCITING DAY AT TOUCHED BY A PAW!
First, some history ... Late last summer, a stray siamese mom delivered 4 kittens under the mower deck of a neighbor's lawn tractor, near our director's home. (That home was just being built and was not occupied.) The stray mom cat, who appeared pregnant, came daily for food that was set out for feral cats, then she would leave.. After a few days of the mom cat coming to eat, then leaving, our director quietly followed her, hoping to see if she had delivered and where she had hidden the kittens. That's when she found the 4 tiny flame point Siamese kittens under the tractor mower deck! It was a great relief to find them! Of course, she couldn't leave them!. The stray mom was trapped and the kittens were then reunited with their mom. They were all taken into foster care where they were socialized and hand raised with love.

Mom and kittens were spayed/neutered/vax'd, and kittens were brought into the shelter to find their forever homes. They are so unbelievably lovable! Now, fast forward .... Kate came with her daughter to meet the kittens. They fell totally in love with them! Kate originally intended to adopt just two of the kittens. However, after spending time with them... and all being so friendly and loving, she decided to ADOPT ALL FOUR KITTENS !! SO, all the siblings were adopted today into their furr-ever home together! Kate and her daughter will provide these 4 adorable kittens a lifetime of fun and love! We are SO excited for the kittens and their new family!! We wish you all a lifetime of love and fun!! Thank you so much, Kate and family !!! Please send us updates as the kittens get used to their new home and as they grow. This was a very special rescue.

As we enter the second month of 2025, we have a goal to share with all of you! We'd like to reach 70 adoptions this year! If you do the math, that's right around 6 adoptions per month, or 1-2 per week. We've had an AMAZING start to the year with 8 adoptions already, so we're a little ahead of the game. We've got so many kittens, younger cats, adult cats, and senior cats who need a loving home. We're open to the public on Saturdays from 12-4. We're located in downtown Whitewater, WI, behind Reflections of the Past. Here are photos of just some of our recent adoptions 😍😍

CONGRATULATION TO IGGY !
Iggy was previously adopted into a great home. Unfortunately, he was returned to us when his person became too ill to care for him. Then he met Tracy -- and they had a great connection! Tracy adopted this sweet boy into his new furr-ever home! We are SO HAPPY for you, Iggy! And also for Tracy! He will be a great companion! We wish you a long and happy life together! Thank you Tracy, for giving this precious boy a new loving home!!!

WOW !!! WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!
Desiree was adopted to a wonderful family on Saturday... and they came back today to adopt her brother Donny! We are sooo happy the siblings will be reunited!!! Thank you so much, Heather and family, for coming back for this adorable little boy!!! He has personality plus! (Look at his little face!! We are sure these two will provide tons of love and entertainment! We wish you lots of fun and love for the future.) Please be sure to send us updates!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO LITTLE DESIREE !

Desiree, along with 6 very young siblings were seen being "dumped" from a car, into a ditch, on a desolate country road! One of our volunteers heard about this shortly thereafter and went out to locate and rescue them! It was a miracle they were found! Desiree is a very sweet, lovable kitten! We are SO HAPPY that she has found her perfect family! She will be going home to meet her older brother and we are sure they will become fast friends! Thank you so much, Heather and family, for adopting this precious kitten! We wish you a long and happy future together ! (p.s. We LOVE updates!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO LILLY!
Sadly, Lilly was returned to us when her owner passed away. She was confused and didn't understand why her world turned upside down, or why she was back at the shelter. She has always been a very sweet kitty. Then she met Emily and Leonard. That's the moment they connected, and Lilly was adopted into her "new" furr-ever home! We are SO HAPPY for you, Lilly! And, for your new mom and dad! Emily and Leonard are the parents of one of our treasured volunteers, and are also are previous adopters! Lilly couldn't have found a more perfect home!
We wish you all a long and happy life together!

We love to see our adult cats find homes with families who are patient and allow personalities to shine! Just one week in and Tiki (tortie) was adjusting faster than Toto. She was exploring the whole house and asking for belly rubs from Jim and Barb! Toto was a little later to the party, now runs around the lower floor and upstairs to the main floor for exploring. The first two photos are from the first week of settling in, and the second two are more recent. You can tell the girls are now home sweet home 😻😻😻. Thank you Jim and Barb!!

Another happy day for us! Dean the kitten went home with Josh, joining his little brother Denali at home ❤️❤️❤️. Siblings Desiree and Donny (one black, one grey 😺) are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines and ready for a home!!

UPDATE: ADOPTED ❤️❤️❤️
WWE smackdown- tripod edition🤣🤣. Both Chello and Ciara have only three legs due to how they arrived to us at the shelter. Both were in dire conditions and needed immediate help. Our shelter, run purely by donations and volunteers needed to get these two in for immediate surgery. Both had amputations and recovered in foster care. They're now thriving(as you can see) and living their best lives! We'd love to see them go to a home together, as you can see they do love to hang out! If you're interested in having a cat that has something cool about them, a three legged cat is a good place to start. If that's not enough, look at Ciara's little mustache! Chello loves to talk to us and REALLY loves meal time 🤣. The lucky home that Chello and Ciara go to will have to be very careful with feedings, as you'll want to make sure they don't get too heavy, having only three legs to keep them upright. Let us know if you're interested 😍😍😍

March 21, 2022 ❤️ 1,017 days ❤️ Tiki and Toto are FINALLY going home!! These two have been in our care for almost three years. Can you believe it's taken this long for someone to love them so much they take them home? We are so grateful for the adopters who come to us, and we are especially touched when people come in and are in search of adult cats. Imagine watching people come in and out and walk past you each day because you're not "small and cute" anymore. These girls have been so patient and we can't express our gratitude for this adoption enough. As always, let us know how they settle in, and send us updates as you're able. For those of you who are reading this and are interested in an adult cat, we have others who've been in our care for just as long and are just waiting for someone to pick them out as their own. HAPPY NEW YEAR indeed 🎉😍🥹

LOOK WHO WILL BE HOME FOR NEW YEAR'S!
Takeo was adopted by Kali into his furr-ever home!
Kali also adopted Tanaro a few weeks ago, so, we are thinking there will be lots of fun and play time for these two!

Instead of smell-o-vision, We wish you could have Purr-o-hearing 🤣🤣🤣. Krystal has been a little bummed since her sister found her forever home, but tonight, she was ready to snuggle. This love fest started on her bed, she even let one of our volunteers rub her belly! This sweet girl would love to have her happy ending now that her sister has. Come meet this sweet girl!!

Bowie is the sweetest guy! You'd never know he was rescued from outside. He lives for his pets as you can see from the video below!!
