“One final tour with honor.”Gary was honored to be included in what is called the Honor Flight for veterans. He was welcomed home after 55 years. When he came home from Vietnam, he was spit on, harassed and cursed when he landed in California. Today when he landed in Washington DC all of the veterans were greeted with cheers, thankyou’s and applause as children choirs sung our military patriotic songs. He wept. The hurt is still there. Think about this when you vote. The choice has never been so clear. Vote for freedom and thank a veteran that you still are free.
