New prices starting Today January 1st, 2023

New clients
DOG BOARDING 1 dog-
1-9 nights $45 a night
10+ night $30 a night
DOG BOARDING 2+ dogs (each)
1-9 nights $25 a night each dog a night
10+ nights $15 a night each dog a night

HOLIDAYS-
Night before and after the holiday for 1 dog extra $10 will be applied for each night.
Night before and night of the holiday 2+ dogs extra $5 per dog per night.

DOGGIE DAYCARE 1 dog-
$35 from 5am-6pm Sunday-Sunday. Anytime after 6:01pm extra $5 per hour per family NOT each dog.
DOGGIE DAYCARE 2+ dogs (each dog)-
$20 from 5am-6pm Sunday-Sunday.

Holiday rate-
$5 added for only the day of holiday

Puppies that are 2 months -6 months old will have a puppy charge of $5 per night/doggie daycare unless fully potty trained.

Non neutered males will be charged $10 per night if they spray inside my home. Non sprayers will not have a charge. (Yes it happens even if they don’t do it at your house (I have more dog smells))

Non neutered females only when on their cycle, will be charged $5 extra per stay (night or doggie daycare)

ANIMAL HOME VISITS- (MUST NOT require walking, I have a 3 month old baby that may have to come with me and it’s to cold to walk with him). I am happy to feed them, let them out for bathroom breaks and play with them inside.

20-30 minute visit
$15 for 1 dog
$5 for each additional dog

$10 for 1-3 Cats
$15 for 4-7 Cats
$20 for 7-10 cats

Any other type of animal, price will be figured out with what I am asked to do.

Ledger Christapher was born Monday 9/19 at 7lbs 13 oz. I am off for the next two weeks but can’t wait to introduce this guy to all my amazing clients!

Visser’s Ark will be closed July 2nd-July 9th but we have many weekdays and weekends opened in July for doggie daycare or boarding!

Visser’s Ark will be making some changes as of the End of July 2022.

I will no longer be offering dog walking services since I am expecting our third child. Having an infant and walking in Michigan winters does not sound fun 😂.
I will still be doing doggie daycare and boarding but will take the week before I am due and week after (unless baby changes those plans) to get ready for Ledger Christapher (our second boy) and to rest and enjoy our new bundle.

Hello everyone, thought I would check in and let you know what’s going on here at the Visser’s Ark. Right now we are just trying to get through the holiday season. I have a few spots open for New Year’s if anyone is looking for dog boarding.
Once 2022 hits I will start being a little bit more active and really advertising my business. With starting the business and trying to finish up my fall semester of school, it’s been a little hectic.

If I don’t check in again I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a very happy new year and happy holidays to anyone who does not celebrate Christmas.

This is not a post I ever planned on posting. As of October 31, 2021 I will no longer be working with Rover .com. A situation occurred that left a dog unfortunately deceased and I completely take full responsibility. Rover says they can no longer keep me as an employee. I can understand if this situation turns you off for me taking care of your pets. I have no words for what happened this week and I feel so awful and wish I could take it all back and more. Today I am so thankful to have Visser’s Ark.
my daughter is not her normal cheerful self and I’m on my way to grab her from school. Being able to bring my children on walks or being home watching dogs but able to grab my children when need it is such a huge blessing. The fact I am able to make money but still being able to put my children first is truly the greatest gift Visser’s Ark has given me plus I get to spoil and snuggle a bunch of cute animals!

Some fequently asked questions/worries :

Should I bring my dogs crate? 
Nope, I have TWO at my house. So it’s one less thing you have to worry about.

Are you worried your dog will escape?
Don’t worry I have a fenced in yard. As of today no dogs have escaped!

Don’t know how your dog will do with cats?
It’s okay. My house is separated to where the cats get the basement and the dogs have the whole upstairs. My cats are never really sense anyway 😂.

What if my dog is old and needs medicine?
That’s okay. I don’t have many stairs and I don’t mind giving medicine.

Do you take puppies?
I love puppies!
