PIXIE'S PAPA

This is Movado. He is Pixie's dad. So she comes by the yuckiness naturally! 😄

White persians require *daily* grooming care. Eye/face cleaning. Applying Eye Envy powder to the stained areas. Use of persian-specific water fountains/bowls (check out Ebi fountains, Charlie's Critters, and DaisyCeramicsacrsy). And when bathing, the use of whitening/blue shampoo.

White persians are not for the faint of heart!!

PS - it does take months for staining like this to fade!! As long as daily face cleaning & Eye Envy are happening, the staining will eventually go away. It's just gonna take time!

INTRODUCING...FAITH!!!

Faith is a 2ish year old silver patched tabby with white persian. She is fully vetted (spayed, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc) and is ready for her forever home.

Faith was a stray, rescued off the streets. She wasn't microchipped. The finders were unable to locate Faith's owner, so they asked STPR for help.

Faith is initially shy with new people/situations. It does her a couple of weeks to really feel safe. Once she trusts you, Faith is a complete sweetheart!!! ❤️

Faith is fine with other cats. She's a little apprehensive with the dogs, but should be fine (eventually) with a cat friendly dog. Older children only. Faith would also be okay as an only cat.

INTRODUCING...EUGENE!

Eugene is a 2 yr old cream Persian. He is fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc) and is ready for his forever home.

Eugene ended up in rescue when his owner passed away. I can tell she really loved & cared for her kitty - he is very loving and trusting, he is well groomed, and he has great weight on him.

Eugene is ADORABLE. And SWEET!!! This boy is a complete doll baby! ❤️ He is fine with other cats & tolerant of dogs. I think he'd be good with kiddos too.

INTRODUCING...MICKIE!!

Mickie is a 2-3 year old black persian. She is fully vetted (spayed, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc) and is ready for her forever home.

Mickie came from a breeding situation. She had been kept caged prior to coming into rescue.

Mickie does have some socialization needs. She's not overly enthusiastic about interacting with people (understandably lol). But she is definitely interested! She reacts positively to canned good & wand toy playtime.

Mickie adores other cats. She is very playful & active. She would make a great companion for a kitty who needs a friend. Mickie is also fine with our dogs.

This girl needs a home that will be able to make a concerted effort to work on her people social skills. It will likely take months to really earn Mickie's trust & affection.

Babette is GORGEOUS. She's sweet & affectionate. She's young (2 yrs). She gets along with other cats & would probably be ok with dogs.

AND WE'VE NOT RECEIVED ONE APPLICATION ON HER!!!

I have applications out the w***o on Scarlett (another gorgeous, young, sweet Exotic Shorthair). But not a one on Babette. I don't get it.

Fancy feast kitteh!

INTRODUCING...CHERUB!!!

Cherub is a 4-5ish year old silver chinchilla Persian. She is fully vetted (spayed, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc), has had a recent dental, and is ready for her forever home.

Cherub was found wandering the streets of Houston. Thankfully a Good Samaritan took her in & reached out to rescue.

I can tell you why Cherub was (likely) tossed outside: she will NOT use a litterbox. BUT she will *religiously* use a p*e pad! So it's really not a huge issue. 🤷‍♀️

Cherub is a *tiny* little thing. Maybe 5 pounds. Soaking wet. But though she be tiny, she is fierce! Lol. Cherub will not be intimidated or bullied by bigger cats - she stands up for herself. Lol.

Cherub is absolutely fine with other cats. And she's cool with our dogs. Due to her tiny stature, older kids only. Cherub would also be fine as an only cat.

Spicy Kitteh!

INTRODUCING...IGNATIUS!!!

Ignatius (aka Iggy) is a 3-4 year old red & white bi-color persian. He is fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, microchipped, vaccinated, etc) and is ready for his forever home.

Iggy is cute...that's about it. Lol. He's not sweet. He's not cuddly. He fights the nightly face cleaning that is absolutely necessary. He hates the other cats. He barely tolerates the dogs.

I suspect Iggy would be much happier in a home with no other animals - or at least no other cats. And then, hopefully, his true personality would start to show...instead of just petulance. Lol.

So Iggy needs a home with no other cats, preferably with no other animals. With people who are good with a more independent natured cat (but one who loves to play with interactive toys!). And with persons who are willing/able to wrestle with him to get the daily grooming done. 😁

JUST AN FYI

Some of you may be wondering why I listed Laverne & Shirley separately for adoption.

Simply put - Shirley loves Laverne. Laverne does NOT love Shirley. Lol. And Laverne is NOT nice to other cats - including her sister.

I can see the heartbreak in Shirley every time she reaches out to her sister, only to be (literally) slapped down.

So I think it's in their best interests to find separate forever homes - Laverne as an only pet.

Beautiful persian bonded pair of boys looking for furrever home in South Texas 😍

BLUE & PEANUT

These boys are phenomenal. Sweet, social, affectionate, interactive.

We did have to groom, bathe, flea treat, and fully vet the boys. But all of that is now done. And now they get to look forward to the good life!!

Blue & Peanut are 1-2 yrs old. Now fully vetted (neutered, fiv/felv negative, vaccinated, microchipped, etc). They have lived with other cats & dogs. Kids over 5yrs would be fine.

I'm not seeing that these boys are bonded. But they are littermates, so we will prioritize adopting them together.
