PERSONAL NOTE~ January has been a hard month😔. Last week Roscoe's Dad reached out to me to let me know that Roscoe had crossed The Rainbow Bridge🌈😢. My heavy heart felt even heavier🥺. I was looking forward to Roscoe's stay in February but it just wasn't meant to be. Sometimes God has other plans. Roscoe was a very special boy and I loved him the moment I met him💙. He had such a "big dog attitude" in that tiny we**ie dog body. You all probably don't know this but Roscoe was once grabbed up by a coyote😲but he, along with his Dad, scared that awful coyote away. Unfortunately that incident did cause poor Roscoe to suffer from some PTSD after that but he put on a brave front. Unlike some Dachshund guests Roscoe was VERY social...always sticking that nose where it shouldn't go😬but hey he was a "lowrider" so what's a guy to do!😊He enjoyed making friends, actually almost insisting on it with other guests and they always found him to be a delight. Oh he'd give the big dogs heck but it was all in good fun. I loved watching him bounce around with those little ears just flapping😁and my heart was happy when he'd bounce into my lap🥰. For a little guy he sure had a BIG personality and I'm going to miss that most. I know Roscoe had his Mom & Dad wrapped around his little paws 🐾and I know their hearts were broken💔having to say goodbye to him. Mark McBride, Michelle Warren McBride my thoughts and prayers🙏are with you. I'm sure going to miss your little boy. Thanks for letting me be a small part of his life. 💙RIP Roscoe May 7, 2018-January 2025
