Did you know we have ultrasound? Ultrasound enables Dr. wade to get a look at things that can’t be seen in an xray. Ultrasound uses ultrasonic waves to create images of body structures based on the pattern of echoes reflected from tissue and organs being imaged. The handheld ultrasonic probe emits sound waves into the animal’s body, which bounce back and are transformed into real time images. These images help Dr. Wade visualize the organs, tissues, and blood vessels, enabling him to detect abnormalities, such as tumors, cysts, or organ malformations.
