The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club has been busy for the past three weekends by supporting our community through our cooks, good eats, and volunteers. The club has provided cooks and volunteers for Hospice Of Wichita Falls, Miracle League, and Scotland Park Elementary Fall Carnival.

Yesterday and today the Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was proud to recognize two Scotland Park Elementary students with the clubs "Kool Kids" Award. Emmie, a Kindergarten student and Ariyan a 4th grade student were recognized for their outstanding character.

Today, Aliviyah "Livi" Wagner was presented with the WF Kiwanis Clubs August "Youth Of The month" award. Aliviyah is a member of the Southwest branch of the Boys and Girls Club. She's a big helper at home and an active member of her local church. She's a 2nd grade student at Jefferson Elementary were she's an A/B student. She's received several awards while attending Jefferson Elementary and says he favorite subject is reading. The interim director of her Club states that, "Livi is sweet, funny, and always enentertaining." Congratulations Livi on being selected as our Youth Of The Month!

The WF Kiwanis Club ended the summer presenting two of our community youth with the "Youth Of The Month" award.The winners were Kai'Den Brown, a member of the Northwest Club and Alysyti Janzen, a member of the Southwest Club. Both youth are very active, make excellent grades and are highly respected in and out of their respective clubs. Each student was presented with a plaque and a $50.00 gift card.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club proudly presented Leonel Rabago as the Boys and Girls Club "Youth Of The Month ". Leonel is 8-years old, and a member of the Southwest branch of the Boys and Girls Club. He just completed 3rd grade at Cunningham Elementary. He's an A-B student and says his favorite subject is science. He was honored at school this year for his perfect attendance. Interim Director Ms. O'Donley stated that Leonel is respectful, honest and a great person! Leonel stated that when he grows up, he wants to become a police officer.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was proud to honor Ridley Havins as our Boys and Girls Club "Youth Of The Month " for May 2024. Ridley is a first grade student at Cunningham Elementary where she's a hard worker, "A" student, and math is her favorite subject. Ridley is in her first year with the B&G Club, and has already become very active in Club programs. She states that school and learning are so important to her future. She says when she grows up, she'd like to be a police officer. Congratulations Ridley!!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club members were at Scotland Park Elementary today to present principal Laura Scott, Superintendent Dr. Donny Lee, and the Scotland Park Student Council with a $20,000.00 donation towards building a new playground for Scotland Park students. Wichita Falls Kiwanis members recognize the importance of supporting our area youth, especially our partners at Scotland Park Elementary. We realize the value of a playground, as it provides an environment needed for children to engage in activities that develope key cognitive, social, and physical skills.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club is proud to award Jaeden Arias as our Boys and Girls Club "Youth of the Month " for April 2024. Jaeden is a 2nd grade student at Fain Elementary, where he is a volunteer helper and an A-B student. Jaeden is very responsible at home by always assisting with chores. Jaeden has been a member of the Southeast branch of the Boys and Girls Club for a year, where he is very active and involved in many of the club activities. He is an active member at Compassion church and has an active prayer life.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club is proud to select Michael Ciuba as our March 2024 Boys and Girls Club " Youth Of The Month". Michael is a third grade student at Crockett Elementary. He is an A student and a great helper. Michael is a very active member of the Central Boys and Girls Club where he is always stepping up and helping out. Congratulations Michael for your outstanding service to your school, Club, and home.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was proud to present our "Kool Kids" award to two outstanding students at Scotland Park Elementary. January's winner was Jarrett Cooley, a 1st Grader in Mrs. Watson class. Our February winner was Abdaly Lozoya, a 4th Grader in Mrs. Ornelas class. Both students were recognized with a bouquet of balloons, a plaque, and a $ 50.00 gift card.
Congratulations to both of these outstanding students.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club made a donation this week to the WFHS Baseball Booster Club. The donation helps maintain Old Highs baseball field, equipment, team travel and other expenses.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was excited to honor Chris Busby as our "You Of The Month". Chris is a 3rd grade student at Jefferson Elementary where he makes A's&B's on his report cards. Chris is active in his community through his membership at First Baptist church. His parents state that he's a great helper around the house, and loves helping his grandmother. Mrs. Smith, the director of the SW Boys and Girls club states that Chris is involved in many academic and sports activities at the club. She describes Him as being a sweet young man and a positive role model each and every day. At our luncheon Chris was honored with a plaque and a Walmart gift card.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club grilled hot dogs last night for the Scotland Park Elementary Fall Carnival. This has become a yearly tradition for our club. It's an enjoyable time for us, as well as supporting a great cause and a great group of family and staff at Scotland Park!

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis club presented two Scotland Park Elementary students with our "Kool Kids Awarads " These students are standouts in the respective classrooms! Presentations were made for September and October. Congratulations to both our recipients!!

This week the Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was excited to present Paislee with our Youth Of The Month award.
Paisley is a very active member of the Southwest branch of the Boys & Girls Club. Paislee is a 3rd grade student in the WFISD, making A's & B's on her report cards. She states that when she grows up, she'd like to be a veterinarian. As recognition, Paislee was presented with a plaque and a $50.00 gift card.

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club family enjoyed a cookout at South Weeks Park. Fun , food, and fellowship was enjoyed by all. It's always a great time getting the Kiwanis family together.

Natalie Craighead a second grader at Scotland Park Elementary was awarded the Wichita Falls Kiwanis "Kool Kid Award" for May 2023. She was nominated by her teacher Natalie Bodkin. She was recognized for being a kind person, all of the time. She easily recognizes students who may be having a difficult day and is quick to include them in activities. Mrs Bodkin stated that Natalie is a "Shining Light In Our Classroom ".

The Wichita Falls Kiwanis Club was proud to honor Jasmine a member of the Southwest branch of the boys and girls club..She is a 3rd grade student here in the Wichita Falls ISD. She's an A-B student who loves school, and says math is her favorite subject. She's an active member and involved in her local church. Her club director says she is very active in the B&G Club, involved in both educational and sporting activities. She is a very caring person, who is considerate and polite to all. "She is a great asset to our club " She was honored today as the WF Kiwanis "Youth Of The Month" for May 2023. Congratulations Jasmine👏👏👏👏
