Happy Thanksgiving🦃 from Nala and Simba at Bunny TNT🐰🧨
We’ve spent every holiday we can remember here at Bunny TNT and though we are one of many in an overflowing shelter, Grandma Bunny always finds a way to make us feel special✨ Individually prepared fresh meals for all of us and plenty of free roam time and lots of room to binky🐇
Bunny TNT’s founder Joyce Gedraitis, Grandma Bunny to me and the tiny humans, thinks I’m not listening most of the time but we all hear every word (look at our ears😉). It’s been so busy around here and we have so much to be thankful for🥰
Malcom and Morgana found a perfect forever family… They’re human prepared for weeks and they are so comfortable and happy with their new life! We miss them so much personally because M&M lived right next to us and we spent time together everyday. It’s really good though to see them go to such a great new home.
Henry and Blanco each found new humans as well and Henry even found a new bunny partner where he’s going! Talk about shocked😳, Henry was so …unique in his personality that Nala and I doubted he would ever find somebunny. Now wedding bells are in his future too💒?! Anything is possible, there is a happily ever after out there for all of us, we just have to find our humans.
Grandma Bunny took in two more abandoned rabbits and I can’t remember their names but one of them is a red (which I have never seen before) and the other quite the agouti cutie.
The November Hop in was a great success and now tons of bunnies will have Oxbow toys to wake up to Christmas morning🎄
Bunny TNT is beyond greatful for the Wichita area community that comes together with us to help the abandoned, dumped, and displaced rabbits. These bunnies have been let down by their human breeders and the ones who purchased them. That all ends once Bunny TNT is involved. With your support, once somebunny is accepted into our program, they get medical diagnostics and treatment, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (the deadly rabbit hemorrhagic disease). The bunnies get individualized diets based on their needs, room to play and do their bunny activities, litter box trained, behavioral training, and touch therapy. Some rabbits who show a personality for it get specialized therapy training to help people in hospitals, nursing homes, or maybe someone feeling lonely or sad with bunny love and affection. Scientific studies show petting rabbits reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) and the effects of it can be felt almost immediately.
If you are feeling thankful this season and have the ability to help Bunny TNT continue our efforts to make everybunny feel like a miracle, please visit our website and click donate in the drop down menu. $5 for veggies, $10 for pellets, $100 for a neuter/spay, every bit makes a difference. We have two spay/neuter appointments now, two more bunny mouths to feed, and our phone is always ringing about new intakes; your support makes our work possible.
