What To Expect - Curbside Veterinary Service
Over the past few months our team has worked tirelessly to remain open and provide essential medical care to your animals. We are here to serve you and your pets and administer the highest quality of care. You may experience much longer hold times or call response time as our patient volume has increased significantly. We know how hard it is to be separated from your fur-baby while you wait in your vehicle. That’s why we’re taking you inside (virtually) to show you what’s going on behind the doors!
Dixie Update
At 2-weeks post-surgery from a brutal dog attack, Dixie is well on her way to recovery! She had her staples removed and there is no fluid in her chest. She’s putting some weight on her front leg, and the important thing is that all her nerves are connected. There was so much damage to her front leg from the dog bite that it will be awhile before she feels like using it again.
We appreciate those who have donated to Dixie’s owner, Darlene, who has completely exhausted her available funds on medical treatment. To help Dixie, and other owners struggling to afford necessary life-saving treatment, please consider donating to the Paw It Forward Foundation. 100% of every dollar donated to the Paw It Forward Foundation is used to treat sick or injured animals at our hospital. Click here for Dixie’s GoFundMe page https://gf.me/u/x9pih6.
Next week we will be visiting one of Dixie’s donors, so check back!

Endoscopic Bone Removal
Radiographs revealed this Yorkshire Terrier had a chicken bone lodged in the esophagus near the stomach. We removed it with a non-invasive endoscopic procedure, which took 50 minutes to fully remove all the bone fragments and debris. (note: this dog was fully under anesthesia and felt no pain)
